The hotel is in the center, convenient for traveling. The staff is enthusiastic and cute. The hotel is new, clean, and the rooms are beautiful. There is a convenient airport shuttle service.
The food at the hotel is delicious and tasty, but the buffet has a few dishes.
There are some cute cats outside the hotel :))))

Velar would like to sincerely thank you for choosing the hotel to stay in Con Dao as well as giving your review. The hotel is very sorry for the number of breakfast dishes. Due to limited space, the hotel cannot serve more dishes. Instead, the hotel has focused more on the quality of each dish as well as food hygiene and safety to always bring the most delicious and guaranteed dishes to our guests. Hello, thank you for choosing Velar when planning to visit Con Dao. The hotel sincerely apologizes to you for the unfortunate experiences you encountered, and at the same time, takes this opportunity to explain more clearly about your reservation.
Firstly, regarding the breakfast issue, the hotel would like to confirm that this is an error of the booking system and the hotel is ready to provide meals to you at the room rate without breakfast as an apology for this unavoidable incident.
Regarding the second issue, the number of guests you booked. The number of guests will affect the room price when booking on the online booking system, the actual number of guests that I booked was 1, so the room price was automatically reduced to suit my needs. But when I arrived at the hotel, the actual number of people was larger, so the hotel suggested a surcharge for this guest. This is what the hotel must do to ensure fairness for other guests, as well as have additional costs to bring the best services to me. It is completely normal for me to book a room with 1 large bed for 2 people for 1 person to stay, so it is incorrect for you to tell the hotel that you booked 1 but the room for 2 people can accommodate 2 people.

Friendly staff, 3 cute cats. Clean room. Near the beach, convenient for swimming. We rented a motorbike to go around the center, it was quite close. In the evening, I bought things at the night market and came back to the room to eat and watch Netflix, it was also very chill. I didn't have a Netflix account so I had to log in to my own account. The hotel should invest in a Netflix account for guests, it would be better.
