Staff very helpful good position thus happy

Its location is OK. Within walking distance to the Perth Mint and other downtown attractions. However not much choices for coffee or quick bite especially early in the morning or weekends when all the nearby offices are closed. Saw some small cockroaches running around in the room and if you open the balcony door for some fresh air, outside can be very noisy. People talking loudly in the street, garbage trucks and helicopter hovering over the hospital nearby in the middle of the night.

Great location, lovely staff and overall great stay! Would happily visit again.

Good location and easy check in.

Great location, close to RPH. Fantastic having restaraunt and room service options. Unfortunately did not have a book with Room Service Menu. Service in Restraunt breakfast could have been better. I was seated then order not taken, had to get up and asked for order to be taken. Only ordered takeaway coffee in the end instead of full breakfast and 2 coffees.

Great location with large room and comfortable bed…staff very friendly and super helpful too! Wifi and elevators were also great!

It's odd, only a fortnight later on the same night of the week and a very different experience. Upgraded on arrival (sounds great), however in the end the room was dark less impressive then feeling upgraded. Bathroom was grimey, balcony room made more noise then previous visit. At breakfast first plate and bowl for the buffet were both caked in old food crud. Unfortunately, not worth returning.

Comfortable night stay, planning to stay again soon. Convenient location away from hustle and bustle.

Hotel was fine with off street parking. Great location, only 10 minute walk to Murray Street and pubs. Quiet during the night. Air-conditioned worked well and TV reception was excellent. Room smelt a bit musky and it was an old style room but overall good value for money at $150 per night.

Comfortable and good location

The room was clean, if a little dated. Expected to see some water in the fridge, and maybe some toothpaste provided, but that wasn't the case. Bed was quite comfortable. Conveniently located near Perth CBD. Niggles - USB charger on the GPO didn't work, reception staff member threw my credit card on the bench instead of handing it back to me (I had handed it to him), and the bedside light turned on and off if you moved in bed - might have a loose connection somewhere. Little bit noisy with other guests banging doors, but which hotel doesn't have this issue?

At check-in there was only 1 person. He had to attend to a gust and that took 20 mintes while I had to wait to be attended. I asked if he was the only person on the counter and he said that there was another in the office - but that person never came out to assist the back-log of people waiting. The restautant was no better. 1 staff member who took orders and then had to also do room service deliveries!!! So the restaurant service was non-existant when he was devivering room service. Very pleasant staff delivering a very poor level of customer servcie. I think it is a management issue (cost cutting) and not just a staff attitude problem. The room had very little furniture despite being a deluxe room. Aprt from the desk and chair, it had 1 lounge chair (not even a small couch or a sofa table). Not reflective for the price one pays for a deluxe room. The room also had silverfish, in the bathroom, by the coffee making table and bed. This property needs a full review.

Housekeeping could have been better. Upon returning to my room after a long day, the housekeeping staff had cleaned the main sleeping area, and the bed was made. However, trash in the garbage can in the washroom was not taken out.

A nice hotel for people on a budget, but it certaainly does need a refurb. While everythinf was perfectly functional it was very dated. Breakfast was good value and well presented. The location was good and easy for busses and trains.
