Mercure Perth On Hay

The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. the outside envirnoment was unsafe at times with drunks and people sleeping rough.

Staff went above to give great service. Is getting quite old but furnishings are new. Pizzas were very tasty & happy hour was great. Location is great.

I could not fault anything about my stay. I only wish I had been staying for longer. The room was immaculate and the staff were very helpful. Thank you.

Not sure how a room is sold to customers where the cold water to the shower does not work. It then begs the question as to if the shower was cleaned prior to my arrival. Was advised it would be fixed…wasn’t. Two nights with no shower facilities in a 4 Star Hotel….

Arrived to check in and was greeted from an amazing guy behind the desk who showed us how to use the kiosk to check in, absolutely great service, didnt catch his name tho. Loved how convenient the hotel was for us as we enjoyed dinner at kickn in seafood place. The morning buffet breakfast was also really delicious.

My room was in extremely poor condition. Although management claimed that renovations were underway, I saw no evidence of this. The bathroom was particularly unhygienic—the bathtub was dirty and stained, while the floor tiles’ grout, which should have been light grey, was nearly black. Several fittings were loose on the walls, and the shower tap was loose, allowing water to enter into the wall. On the first day of our stay, my wife suffered from food poisoning and required medical attention from a nurse. As compensation, the hotel offered us six complimentary breakfasts. However, given our experience, we were unwilling to risk further illness and chose to dine elsewhere instead. Additionally, we prefer having breakfast in our room, but this hotel does not offer in-room breakfast service, which was an inconvenience. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and service.

Our stay at the Mercure was ok - a very old building - no microwave - drinking glasses, cutlery and plates in the room - Loved the buffet breakfast but the other meals were poor options and size of meals were very small - The staff were very friendly

no parking shower head very loose - had to lock in place myself bathroom very dated air conditioning quite noisy

Building in poor condition. Desperately needs a renovation. Room was spacious but tiles need replacing, showerhead leaking, bathroom sink stained, countertops scratched and poorly patched. In general disrepair.

Lack of car parking

On arrival, the member of staff was lovely, however, I did NOT like the self check- in. A four star hotel should not have such an impersonal first impression. The room itself, although was clean, it was tired and very dated. The shower was ample, but again could be doing with a little tlc.

It’s good value and the staff friendly I had two meal and they very good the Caesar salad first rate

Hotel is closed to shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful. Restaurants food is tasty and reasonable price. I am staying there again next month April 2025
