Beautiful room, well appointed with modern and luxurious fixtures. Honestly kind of incredible quality for the price; cheaper than the discount rate I got at the Ibis for a much bigger and lovelier room. Sure the view is nothing to write home about, but the area is lively and on the balcony you feel connected to the city in a way that a river view behind a giant pane of flat glass doesn’t get you.

Room was spotless, very comfortable. Staff on reception friendly, efficient and easy to deal with. We would suggest you have a fan operating for staff working behind the bar! We felt for the young man covering afternoon and mornings... He was awesome but given the temperatures he was working in with nothing to help ease things is not good.

No, the room was not in good condition. I complained as it was worse than a three-star hotel. However, the receptionist was helpful. We were upgraded. I would not recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved staying here but am giving it an overall 4 stars for three reasons. Firstly though the service was exceptional. They had no issue with me dropping my bags off early. I had a small issue with the plug in the bath not sealing properly and they came up and looked at it and it was a simple fix and they gave me a bottle of wine. Now the wine was given to me for a couple of reasons one being the plug two being I’d been up since 2:30am Melbourne time and the third it was my first time is Brisbane. Was a very sweet and kind touch and very valued. 1. They are across the road from a pub that turns into a club at night and that did cause me issues sleeping on Saturday night. Not really the hotels fault though. 2. When I was packing to leave there was a dead cockroach that fell down from under a table. Now this wasn’t a massive deal for me as these things happen from time to time but it does show a little more detail could be taken when cleaning. 3. The food menu is somewhat limited and room service hours are limited. Now this didn’t bother me too much but it could be an issue for others. I would absolutely stay here again but just not on a Saturday night.

I feel misled about the car parking. When I arrived, the roller door was down, witches hats were blocking the driveway, and there’s a sign saying the car park is full. It looks permanent. With nowhere to pull in, I had to park at the shopping centre and cross the road twice with my bags. If parking isn’t available, I’d prefer it was stated upfront rather than presented as if there’s a chance. Honesty is always easier for everyone.

Just stayed two nights at the Beetson hotel. It is a very convenient location 2 minute walk from Suncorp stadium. I booked it because of the location and I didn’t realise it was rated 4.5 stars which I was pleasantly surprised and thought oh yay it’s gonna be really nice almost 5 stars! The receptionist was lovely and informed us we had been upgraded to a suite. Wonderful! That was so lovely. So we get up to the room. I go in the bathroom and there’s a medium size cockroach on the sink which I squashed with the towel. I have never stayed anywhere all over the world that had cockroaches!!! I was horrified. Then I go to get on the bed and the duvet cover had big black splotches on it, looked like ink. I said to my partner what the hell a 4.5 star hotel can’t afford to replace a duvet cover when ink gets spilt on it! But it got worse as then I found red brown stains on other parts of the duvet!! Looked like blood!!! HOW DISGUSTING!!!! I felt sick to my stomach!!! Thankfully the sheets were stain free (that I could see). The cleanliness of the room was a bit lacking, draws and cupboards not wiped. In the morning realised there was only one mug for coffee. So a couple had to share a mug! No spoons or stirrers, no cutlery at all. But I found 3 wine glasses and one glass cup. The shower took at least 5 minutes to get hot, I was pissed off at that. Anyway I have zero idea of how they got a 4.5 star rating. I won’t be staying here again. Cost 1400 for two nights!

Room very dated and dusty. No milk in fridge. We were very disappointed because we booked through your site we were penalised by a 3pm check in and 10am checkout. If booking direct to motel it is 2pm and 11am. I had contacted the motel to ask for an early checkin as my function started at 2pm but they didn't get back to me. When i asked at the desk they said 1 extra hour would cost $50!! It was already an extra $35 just to park the car!! We stayed at this motel when it was owned by Gambaros and it was impeccable. It has definitely gone a long way south since the NRL purchased it.
