Dated rooms - loud air conditioning system that can’t be adjusted.

Carpet wasnt clean properly

Really good. The room was a little tired but wasnt expensive. Besides that it was excellent. Is very close to restuarants, shops etc

A good local hotel. Facilities and rooms could do with an upgrade but it was still a good hotel for the price.

To be fair the ownership of this property only changed a few days ago and therefore any deficiency I am sure is bound to improve.

Friendly staff, clean and delicious breakfast

Good stay, free parking, 15 minute walk to metro and shops. Clean but now a bit run down.

The actual property itself doesnt have a rydges sign so it wasnt obvious driving through isnt great when youre not familiar with the area. The check in process was fine. Going to the lift, theyre both so loud and outdated it seems neglected our children were afraid of the noise it made each time. We felt fine before entering the room. Upon entering I could see the room is dusty and my son and I have asthma and immediately started getting triggered. We were there for my sons birthday and he ended up sick once there sneezing and coughing alot. I was wheezy the whole weekend, I felt fine prior. The room was ok but dustyyyyy and the vents in the bathroom and main area were so dusty. There is no windows so we had to have the airconditioner on. Once we lay on the beds we were all getting itchy so it didnt feel good. I was looking forward to a weekend away to enjoy and those things unfortunately spoiled our stay. One our 2nd day there we spent a few hours out and had the refresh the room sign on when we got back our room was still not seen to so we ended up just asking for toilet paper and towels so during our weekend stay it didnt get cleaned up. Cleaning schedules may have clashed we dont know but that day it wasnt done so it just felt gross the whole time. Wish I had a better review. I hope this can help the staff be aware.

1. Average room, old paintings peeling off canvas. 2. Coming late at night? Entry was nightmare as no one at Front desk, no one answered intercom and no one answered the landline provided. Had to seek help from late night cleaner working inside. 3. Food quality at the restaurant very very average (we only ate Vegetarian, so not sure about other stuff). Requested hot coffee. It was close to luke warm.

Great place to stay as an individual or as family. Great service

The bathroom was quite filthy and run down, room was clean, needs an update and feels run down not very luxury upstairs compared to downstairs when you enter. Okay for the price

There are few things to fault with the accommodation at this price. Of particular note, room A/C was too clunky and noisy. It can cause a bit of inconvenience if you suffer from chronic sinusitis or have a hard time going to sleep with a constant background humming noise.

Pool was a bit dirty but food and service was good. Would go again.

Just relaxing

The property is well located if you are driving. Parking is close but not undercover Rooms are good size but need some tlc A fair bit of walking on site to get anywhere . Not good for elderly . It’s clean tidy spacious and. Ok for a short stop.

The property was very nice and neat, but the staff is not that friendly and welcoming.

Hotel is very tired and rundown inside and out. Outside, grounds in poor condition. Brick paths black in some areas or only partly cleaned. Carpark bitumen has large potholes. Dents, scrapes, and chips in walls and woodwork just left as is. Inside, carpet in hall (level4) looks like original. So thin and worn, is splitting apart at seams. Many stains. Rooms need a major makeover. Carpet old and stained. Unpleasant odour throughout. Aircon control not working. Bathroom basin cracked. Limited powerpoints. Positives: Very quiet. Large carpark (free). Staff friendly and helpful. Not likely to stay there again until has had a full renovation inside and out.
