We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights last week. The overall experience was good. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable enough. The location is great - right on the main road. But there's also a flip side to this... If your room is street side, you may or may not get a good night sleep. It can get noisy. The other side of the building is likely to be more quiet :) They have a nice lounge area with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

If this is a 4-star "boutique hotel," I'm disappointed. Everything was okay, but nothing special. The style of the rooms is rather mediocre. Our iron double bed was cramped, and the mattress was noisy. I can't recommend this hotel. There are certainly better, more affordable hotels in wonderful Salzburg.

There was nothing terribly unique about this property apart from that it is old and in a good location. What was terrible is that there was no fridge in the room for food and no electric kettle so we couldn’t even make a cup of tea.
