Great location and easy access. However my room was on the top floor and the floor was very warped. The floor buckled about 6 inches high, a huge tripping issues which i tripped on several times but thankfully caught myself before falling. Very dangerous in the night, so i left the light on all night. They need to takecare of this asap. I was shocked they could even rent a room like that.

The little boutique hotel I would highly recommend it is a 10 minute walking distance from all the historic sites. The young lady that worked the front desk was absolutely wonderful and pleasant with great insights I would truly go back and stay there again.

Avoid at all costs. The only thing the property has going for it is the area, but there are much better options available elsewhere. At the time of the booking in 2023 the property was listed as Hotel Cafe Pacific. It is not a hotel. Upon access to the property and entry into the building, the superior room that had been booked bore little resemblance to the pictures included in the hotel listing and facilities that were included per the listing were not present. Due to the issues we identified, we decided to stay to book alternative accommodation and stay there instead. We complained directly to Smartflats, outlining the issues in detail - with Expedia’s help we were able to get a refund. The following issues were present with the room: - the floors/wall/balcony were dirty - most of the lights did not work - the bed linen was not clean - the towels were not clean - safety and security concerns with the room/common areas: - broken smoke alarm in the lobby - broken window at front of the property - broken lights in the lobby area - there are no lights in the common area between the elevator and our room. Other facilities that were meant to be available per the listing were not present: - there is no wi-fi - no TV in the room - no coffee/tea making equipment - no rubbish bins - other decor such as wall pictures (seen in photographs advertising the room) were missing

The place was clean and very conveniently located in central Brussels. Two issues: 1. the website said I would get the access codes 1-week before arriving. When they didn't come I queried and was told it would be 2-days before arrival. When they didn't come I was told it would be 1-day before arrival. Since I was leaving for Brussels on that day, it was very anxiety-producing. The access codes did arrive on the day I left. The managers need to get their information straight and 1-day before is unacceptable. 2. The wifi was very poor, even for email. I wouldn't stay there again because of that.

Overall a great location. The room was good and comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars but the room access information was incorrect causing confusion and a delay in getting into the room, as well as addirional cost for international phone calls and data. They had given me a 'keybox' code, of which there are several outside and inside. The code did not work on any of them. After contacting them rhey indicated that the code was to be entered on the door handle which had tiny little buttons that were easy to miss. The other star was lost due some of the power receptacles and lights in the room not working.

The property was generally in good shape, but two major factors made it a bad experience. First the wifi was completely unusable. Second, the window blinds did not work, and the shower door directly faces the window, with fully transparent glass and no curtain, so neighboring buildings can see everything.

This is not a hotel. It’s an apartment that is used as a hotel. No elevator (6 floors), no actual lobby or person, person who manages the support email is not very responsive. Sent email showing the broken bed and I’m still waiting for a reply on what to do. Luckily, I was able to get Orbitz to relocate me to a real hotel. Save your money and go elsewhere. NH Hotel Arenberg is a great option.

This property is located in a perfect area. The shower however was broken and only had scalding hot water. There was also a thermostat for AC but it was not working, luckily the windows open at night are helpful. We notified the property and had a technician come for the shower, but nothing was done after that and we weren’t communicated with after he left. we had to use water bottles with sink water to shower just so we didn’t burn ourselves. Every other aspect of the property was great minus this problem!

The unit was nice. Eco-friendly, yes, didn't even have lights in the bathroom. Had to move a lamp to the bathroom for light. Called for assistance, received a call back, but nothing was done. I guess that's what eco-friendly is all about.

The room is clean and location is very good. It is right in the center, close to restaurants and entertainment. The problem was to check in as there is no person on site. They send you a code and i got mine in the email spam. We had to call the place using expensive roaming rates. Also be aware luggage storage is in the different location, you have to walk 30 mins with luggage to get to the place.

Never had the sheets and towels changed, Found bed bugs in the bed. Lights and sockets weren't working only few of them working. Toilet is separated by a curtain not a proper soundproof door. Good location, bright room.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience staying at the Pacific Café Hotel, the night we arrived was not electricity which we almost got stuck in the lift and we did not have wifi as advertised during the two nights we stayed at the hotel. We mentioned it to the staff but they did nothing about it.

No staff on site, you have to check in online. Stained carpet, bed skirt. Our room was on the 5th floor with roof window. Insufficient light at night you only have a bedside lamp and pin light in the bathroom (which was separated from the bedroom with a curtain). Did not sleep well due to Street noise, car alarm at 2am. Make sure to check out at 11am. Cleaning staff knocked on the door exactly at 11 and entered room with their cleaning cart before we could leave with our baggages! Space was too tight (getting out of the room to elevator)

Do not book this. Was scammed out of my money. Could not get into the building and all numbers listed are out of service. No way to contact property for any kind of assistance. Stood outside in the cold trying to get into the hotel and ended up having to book another hotel on the spot.
