Staff was extremely polite, and the staff at the restaurant on site at the Meatball were exceptionally wonderful! My only recommendation would be with the maid service. We were not given new glasses and our old used ones were just left in there after the room was cleaned.

Clean room. Only problem was underground parking was low clearance. Outdoor parking had about 10 first come spots and other parking was a bit of a walk. As we had to park out back the only access to the hotel was thru the side entrance and then no elevator to the lobby. Was difficult managing apprx 20 steps with luggage.

The first night , we had a lot of noise from outside our room , loud people talking past midnight, the beds were also a bit too hard for me, otherwise everything else was good

Ptarmnigan is not fancy. It's older, but is in a good location, the staff are friendly and it's often a reasonable price. Room was clean and mostly well-stocked. I just stayed one night so didn't use any amenities. Parking is tight for a land cruiser but it fit without any scrapes. Breakfast didn't start until 7 which is a bummer if you're trying to get out for an early walk or a meeting.

We stayed for 2 nights in April. Very clean and nicely updated room. Our room was facing the hotel to the East, so very quiet and private, quite spacious, and the little balcony was lovely! Parking was great, and free! The hotel is a bit of a maze to get around. No swimming pool which is a shame, and there was only coffee available in the room. Ski bus stop right outside the hotel. We would definitely come back!
