DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Victoria

The room that we stated was pretty clean, location was really good. The parking they have is only valet parking. There’s also no pool. I would not stay there again. Just because they have no pool, I did not like the parking. And the biggest problem for me was you cannot cancel your hotel. They can move your dates, but I tried and they were all booked out. I had to make a lot of adjustments since we traveled by ferry just to make this vacation to happen. I hope this is helpful for somebody.

Nice location, but my other room did not get cleaned up on the second day while we were away

We had a lovely two day stay in Victoria, Canada. The hotel was nice a centrally located. we could walk to many of the places in the city easily. A small thing about our stay. we were not aware until we checked into our room that a huge construction job was happening right next door. They began work at 7:00am. It would have been nice to have a heads up about this. Other than that we enjoyed the hotel, our room, and the staff was very helpful when needed. Thank you!

The property was very clean and the room--a family suite-- was very functional. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning staff were friendly and diligent. The only real issue was noise. The hotel is located on a busy corner of Victoria and the rooms are not very sound proof. If you are a light sleeper the street noise is a problem. The trade off is that the location is central and convenient

We truly enjoyed our stay. The two spacious, clean rooms, two (!) luggage stands, the strong water pressure in the shower, and the convenient location near the elevator were all things we had missed during our last stay at the Fairmont.

Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was nice. The room we stayed in was clean and roomy for the family suite. The hotel was a good distance from most attractions around the area.

The staff is very accommodating we had a mix up and they sorted it out and made sure our needs were meet!!

We stayed in a Suite with 2 Queen Beds for two nights and had an excellent experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beautiful Inner Harbour and many of Victoria’s attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. We arrived well before check-in, and the hotel kindly held our luggage until our room was ready, allowing us to make the most of our first day. We also appreciated having a Starbucks conveniently located on the property. We enjoyed the Wake Up breakfast buffet every morning. It was reasonably priced, offered a great variety of delicious options, and was a wonderful way to start the day. A heartfelt thank you to Jessica in the Wake Up breakfast area. She greeted us with a warm smile each morning, was always attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her genuine kindness and exceptional customer service made us feel truly welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. She is a wonderful example of outstanding hospitality. Everyone else we encountered throughout the hotel was also friendly, courteous, and professional. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Victoria.

The beds were excellent!

Overall, a good experience, but the building is clearly not well insulated and you could hear every movement on the street. For the price point, we felt that you wouldn’t expect that. We were two floors up with no street below us and yet we could hear all of the traffic one street over. It was like our window was open, but it wasn’t. Again for what you pay, you don’t expect that.
