I have stayed at the Fairmont in Banff twice and this property in Whistler did not disappoint either. The whole experience was absolutely seamless and I literally could not make one complaint. Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the facilities were excellent. The food and beverages on offer in all areas were some of the best i have had in Canada. I cannot wait to return!!!

Stayed at the Fairmont Gold in Whistler recently. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall Gold experience did not live up to expectations. The service felt below the standard I would expect from Fairmont Gold. While there is a lounge/buffet for Gold guests, it is quite limited and consists mostly of light snacks rather than a meaningful breakfast or food offering. I would not recommend counting on it as part of the value of the stay. Overall, while the accommodations were good, I personally did not find the Fairmont Gold upgrade worth the additional cost.

Location, amenities, clean overall very good. Having made use of both member and hotel lounges before I was surprised that alcohol wasn't included like other hotels. Also the warm food in hot plates requires the plates to be heated. The food was good but not warm.

If you are considering a stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, let me make your decision easy: book the Fairmont Gold Level. My recent experience was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share it. We were utterly blown away by the service, the exclusive amenities, and the sheer value that this premium offering delivers. From the moment we arrived, the Gold experience began. We were whisked away to a private, personalized check-in on the Gold Floor, bypassing any lobby queues a small but significant detail that sets the tone for the stay. The cornerstone of the Gold Level is, without a doubt, the Fairmont Gold Lounge. This wasn't just a place to grab a quick coffee; it was a five-star dining experience throughout the day. The cost savings from enjoying these daily, top-tier meals more than justified the upgrade, turning it from a splurge into an incredible deal. What truly elevated our stay above any other hotel experience we’ve ever had was the impeccable service. The Gold Concierges were proactive, highly intuitive, and executed every request flawlessly. Thank you

Wonderful hotel. We paid extra for the gold class and it really was worth it. Separate checkin, helpful team to sort anything we needed (including lift passes), great selection of food, snack and drinks all day including breakfast. 10 min walk into the main area, but really easy and nice to be out of the main centre. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!

The Fairmont at Christmas - so festive and beautiful!! Shout out to Roman at the Nutcracker Lounge and Martin at the Wildflower and Holly at the Chalet! They were all super friendly and their service was excellent! And we are already missing our daily breakfast in the 8th floor lounge (the best cappuccinos and bread puddings).
