Amazing experience

The concierge guy (I think his name was Arjun) was very useless, and downright rude. The facilities are slightly outdated but decent. The walk ability is continent but for 4-600 per night stay at the four seasons.

This place is truly luxurious. The staff caters to your every need. I will happily stay there again. The only concerns I have that folks should note is that you are a bit far from all the main Whistler Village shops and restaurants, although the Fairmont will shuttle you there. The only other thing was that the morning room service coffee was a bit on weak side, kinda tasted like water and I like it strong, but that is a minor thing. Those are small points. This place is special and I recommend it highly. They treat their guests like royalty and it is easy to become used to that.

The staff was phenomenal very helpful. Very kind. They took care of everything with ease from Valley parking to check in to room service. We had a beautiful room on the 10th floor with Mountain View‘s smell like wood burning fire was very clean. The shower with spacious lighting was great chairs and couch were very comfortable. The bed was phenomenal. My only complaint would be that the pillows were a bit too soft, but everyone has their own preference. Overall great location and really, really nice staff. The restaurants downstairs were also pretty good.

The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with beautiful views and all the amenities you could ask for. The hotel facilities from the pool and spa to the dining options were outstanding and really added to the overall experience. The location is perfect, offering easy access to everything Whistler has to offer, whether you’re there for skiing, relaxation, or exploring the village. Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend Fairmont Chateau Whistler to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and excellent service. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and expected a lot given the high price, but the experience fell short. The room was decent but small and nothing special—similar to what you’d find at a Marriott or Hilton. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, but the hotel still felt understaffed. We waited a long time to check in after a five-hour drive, and even the water station by the line was empty, which didn’t help the first impression. What frustrated me most were the extra charges: an additional “resort fee,” very expensive parking, and no included breakfast despite the premium price. The hotel also has a separate “Gold” experience with its own reception, which makes regular guests feel like they’re constantly being upsold. The biggest disappointment was the gym. The hotel markets itself as health-focused, but the gym was cramped, average, and always full—even at 6 a.m. It’s also uninspiring, with no views. In a place as beautiful as Whistler, they missed a huge opportunity. The pool area was also crowded and not well maintained; we even saw trash and a used bandage on the ground. Overall, the friendly staff is the hotel’s strongest point, but the stay didn’t match the cost. With the extra fees, overcrowded amenities, and underwhelming facilities, I wouldn’t return. Three stars only because the staff genuinely tried their best.

Did not do anything for our anniversary even though they confirmed it was our anniversary. Also would have appreciated hot chocolate opportunities instead of only coffee and tea.

We had a great stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We needed to switch rooms because my wife is sensitive to chemical smells, and our first room had clearly been freshly cleaned. The manager was very accommodating and moved us to an upgraded room without any hassle. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. The grounds are also decorated for Christmas right now, and they look beautiful. Overall, a very positive experience.

I used to go to this property for a fun spa weekend with girlfriends. Instead, pool packed with families and young children - completely different vibe. Not a “spa weekend” to relax and unwind. Major reaet with very loud children with diapers in the pool.
