Green Acres Motel

Good room. Clean.

Absolutely amazing! Great staff, clean room,quiet,close to public transportation, not far from restaurants, close enough to Toronto for adventuring. Easy parking lot. Fridge, microwave,great tv. Happy with room accessibility as well. GORGEOUS bathroom, huge tub. Only issue was no plug for the drain, but not a dire issue as i figured out a solution.

The price was very low, so i did not expect much. But, many things should just be automatic in North America. There was none of the following: cups, glasses, shampoo, tissue paper, coffee, coffee maker. The furniture was very old and worn.

Smoking Alarm was disturbing a lot .

Room booked for 3 but towels and glasses for 2 . Not enough toilet paper and no one available after 9pm.

So the day i checked in i asked for a extra flat sheet they said yes … and never came… the room was full of spiders so i had to go to walmart get a big can of raid dome air freshner and a flat sheet and some face towels since all you get is 2 big stained towels with holes and 2 hand towels… Next day I noticed rooms have a chair outside their door to sit i asked the housekeeping if it was possible to get one so I would not haveto take one from someone else, again she said yes … the chair never came…. Day 3 its 10:15 am i go to extend and they tell me it’s impossible they are sold out…. HOW NICE! I asked how is it that they don’t prioritize the customers that are already staying… i get no answer… so im packing its 10:45 am the door opens without even knocking first I go to the lobby to check out and ask the front desk when will i receive my deposit they say it will be returned at some point i ask is it possible to do it now because i need that same money for another deposit since i gotta look for another hotel last minute they tell me they can only release the funds until the room is cleaned… mind you im not a dirty person… i used my own sheets and pillowcases, i bring air freshener, bug spray, and towels… i read the mixed reviews and still decided to give this place a chance but NOPE I shouldn’t of

Very friendly receptionist (Mona). Very thorough and meticulous showing me the details of the charges. Very polite. All in all, I was completely satisfied and will be making it my regular place to stay when in Toronto.

Perfect little spot. Big room, a/c was noisy every now and again. Bed comfy, pillows not great, bathroom fine. Watched some tv and ordered a pizza in. Quiet...didnt hear anyone else and there were lots of vehicles in the lot

This place is a dump . Ok for a place to sleep and cheap price.

In area hard to find a good restaurants

When checking in I was surprised my an immediate $150.00 secure charge put on my credit card but when leaving the refund still hasn’t been processed a few days later. The room smelled bad, I think perhaps the carpet had been cleaned which might have caused the smell. We only stayed one night.

We arrived at the hotel at 11:02 AM and noticed from the parking lot that the reception lights had just been turned off. We knocked on the door, but no one answered. The sign posted on the door stated that the reception closes at 11:00 AM. This notice did not provide any phone number—an unacceptable situation. The staff member we managed to contact using a number found online did not understand the seriousness of the situation, and only agreed to help after we pleaded with him. The receptionist, who was clearly inside the hotel, eventually opened the door and handed us the room key with the attitude of someone who had been disturbed
