An absolutely outstanding property, and the best high quality staff! Highly recommend this property, and I will return on my next visit!
The only thing that needs to be corrected, is allowing children in the grand lounge (executive lounge) during cocktail hours. The guideline for most 5-star hotel lounges is no children under 12 during the cocktail hours.

Had a great stay! The only part was that we had to go up to 33rd floor to check in and then down to the room and up again for breakfast and not every lift can get there. A bit confusing… the stairs to breakfast was not so user friendly for elderly hard of walking. The blanket was thinner than expected for a Hyatt property, unlike all other Hyatts I have stayed at. Otherwise, excellent!

The Italian restaurant La Terrazza has changed its menu. It is not as good as before. I had Calamari, and it looked and tasted like it came from Costco, or a frozen bag from a supermarket.The colour was brown, not a light colour as it should be. Also, I paid a lot for fish and received very little in return as I was still hungry.
The atmosphere is good. Staff are great too, but the food, not so much.
The location is great. Stella beer is on tap!!!

Checking in was sooo bad .
I arrived at Grand Hyatt at 4pm n expected an instant check in but lo n behold , there was no room avail yet. There was no explanation either. Worse they could not even confirm when the room would be ready n also refused to upgrade me to another room ..
I was told to return later n without any time frame . It took me 1/2 hour of badging them to get a room at 4.45pm. Looks like Grand Hyatt overbooked their rooms n made regular room clients suffer for it.,

Big bath room but not well situated within the room. Both my husband and I literally walked right into the glass. A suggestion would be to put strips on the glass so it’s more visible.
Internet is very very slow to the point it doesn’t work most of the time. Management should look into that.

This hotel is located in Luohu, the older part of SZ. But the location is fantastic as the hotel is just next to the malls and there are plenty of dining options. The room is spacious but abit dated. Upon check in, we found that the day curtains were torn with two holes which is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Had informed front desk during check out.
