Large and comfortable apartment. There is some building work going on but this did not affect our stay at all.

This is my second stay with Springdale Serviced Residence. The apartment was big and clean. You feel like home staying here. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downsize is big bus cannot enter their car park to allow us to load and unload our luggage. But the concierge will help us ferry our luggage to the main road and settle our luggage. We have pleasant here, thanks to the helpful concierge for handling 30 over pieces of luggage.

It was a great stay, with a v clean apartment, a washing machine and dryer and nice hard beds. Cutlery and crockery are available, and staff always friendly and helpful. Location is great too.

The booking reservation was for 2 people and said buffet breakfast was included. On arrival we were told only 1 buffet breakfast was included because of the room type. Expedia didn't reply to my email and we wasted time each day trying to sort this out. On our last day we just went to McDonalds. I recommend staying at a different hotel if you want the convenience of breakfast included.
We attended the Canton Fair and the hotel had a bus once per day to/from the venue. I recommend staying at a hotel with more return bus options, I know it costs more but the time you save is irreplaceable.

This is my first review but I felt inclined to leave this comment.
1. The hot water stopped working so we were forced to shower in the cold. No solution as nobody was working that could help.
2. The rooms had a weird odour, my allergies were acting up bc of the dust, mold could be found everywhere, walls are tearing down bc of the humidity.
3. My umbrella was broken so I dumped it and the hotel forced me to pay 100rmb for it. During the ordeal I went to the washroom and the bloody soap dispenser broken and leaked all over my pants and damaged my passports.
4. When I asked to speak to a manager she never showed up or called me back.
Huge disappointed given this was supposed to be 4 stars and managed by large Singaporean group. Besides all the negativity the location was amazing but that’s it.

The room is excellent for a family. But I do not recommend for a couple to stay. The place is spacious clean and tidy. Above all there is a balcony. But it is too home feel instead of holiday feel. Great for family but not couple.

It's my second stay here after several years. To my pleasure and surprise I got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which is quite large and roomy. The facilities are good with a small kitchen which is typical for a service apartment and the room specific wifi router is really a plus! Hotel location is excellent with large shopping malls/restaurants nearby, and within a few minutes walk via an underground mall to the MRT station. Overall, it's really enjoyable and worth more than I paid for.
