The room was clean and the pizza chef make some good pizza.On the reservation it said water bottle include ,but in there only 2 tiny bottles a day .Really not what expected.

The area that is located its really convenience close from everything.

This property is absolutely disgusting.

Perfect for me. Large rooms with private bathrooms, a pool and a good reasonable priced restaurant, beautiful plants, trees, flowers-true El Eden, Tainos statues, and a short-15 min walk to Dominicus public beach- everything I wanted and more. Because of the very reasonable price of the lodging it didn’t bother me that they didn’t have a light in front of my door, or that the building was old and squiquing something when walking inside- it had air conditioner and a vent. Overall- I LOVED it!

It was good for the price! The room was clean and the staff is friendly.

It was terrible nothing worked. The shower didn’t work at all, the air conditioning didn’t work it wouldn’t go lower than 23. They didn’t provide anything to do the guest not even water or soap in the rooms and then when I complained about my room especially the shower because I at least needed this more than anything nothing was done. I asked for a different room and I was told I couldn’t get it. So I ended up staying one night and checking out early losing 2 days. I paid for another hotel which ended up being so much better but I did lose the money I spent on this hotel. I want my money back.

Service is the best at this place. However the room is in pretty bad conditions, shower doesn't work properly, clogged sink, and bed sheets smell bad

Located in a developing tourist area. A little over a hour from PUJ Airport. Staff friendly but not multilingual. Not a real Restaurant. Grounds are spacious, kept & being upgraded. You get what you pay for & great place for families & alone time.

Good for a short stay. Breakfast could be better, maybe a more dominican breakfast option or more variety. Air conditioning was not working but not needed because it was not too hot. Is a small nice hotel if you are looking to a peaceful stay. Not much to do in the little town.

Nice hotel with all neccessary, nice room, nice pool and good breakfast. Hotel staff is very kind. It is not next to the beach but not so far.

I would describe Hotel El Eden as "just fine." It was a bit of an odd experience, as we only saw one other set of guests the entire time we were there. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful; their English was good enough, and they took care of everything promptly. Kitchen staff spoke only Spanish, which was a bit of surprise given that the listing says the staff is multi-lingual, but language barriers are to be expected when traveling, and we were ultimately able to order without issue. Food was very good, especially the chicken fajitas. Room was a good size, but there were a few broken or dirty objects. Overall it was fine though, and I didn't mind sleeping there. WiFi was okay, not good or great, but did work in our room and we were able to look at the few things we needed. The beach itself is only a few minutes walk away, if you can convince one of the resort security guards to let you through. If you can't, the public beach is quite a ways more, probably about a 10-minute walk. There are a number of shops and restaurants along the walk. Would not recommend walking it at night.

Staff was nice, but the hotel was not, old, uncomfortable...didn't like at all

We stayed in this hotel in July 2017 and it was clean and the stuff was helpful and nice. The hotel is well located in a small town dominicus. But be aware the hotel recommends a car/bike rental company called Excursiones (Johnny /Mina) the first impression was nice but unfortunately at the end really terrible. They tried to screw us and wanted us to pay for scratches on a bike we rented. They literally accused us of having a accident (which we didn't) and wanted money for a demage we didn't do. We refused to pay so they called the police (all in front of the hotel) nobody spoke english and we didn't speak Spanish. Luckily we had a friend who was able to translate and clear us in front of the police - we were lucky. But it really left a scary feeling about the service, people and town at the end on our last night. Because of this incident we won't come back to Dominicus... Though the hotel and crew was nice. If you rent any vehicle make sure the person marks all scratches, issues on the rental sheet so you have proof. Be aware the rental prices of Excursiones are higher than from other companies (there are several in Dominicus). A much nicer service is right opposite of the hotel to the left, boss is called Mario - i recommend! Luckily we met many very nice, helpful Dominican people on our vacation so this incident didn't not destroy the overall option of the country. This sketchy people, services destroy tourism at the end as it leaves a bad impression!

Good price/quality - close to the Dominicus Beach, one of the most beautiful in the region! Staff was nice, although restaurant service was particularly slow.

Friendly and pleasant reception staff, restaurant and bar area clean and friendly, food was excellent, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza. Clean and well kept room. Prices for room and for food and beverages were affordable. Clean pool and well maintained grounds...Would recommend to friends and for another stay myself.

Hotel, restaurant is cash only! We had to drive to Romana (40 minutes away) to get money. The hotel is reasonably close to the beach, there are a handful of Italian restaurants and other amenities (i.e. Pharmacy) within walking distance.

Fue un lindo comienzo la entrada tuve poblemas con el agua caliente y me resolvió el poblema cambiado de habitación pero hay no termina los poblemas en el restaurante hay una desorganizacion muy preocupante servicio lento con largas esperas para ser atendido y las personas todas quejándose una camarera para 36 personas y una solo para cobrar discusiones entre los empleados yo llevo en este oficio mas de 36 años y veo que no saben oganizar a restaurante y cocina necesitan profesionales y alguien que sepa dirigir el trabajo el doctor serrano tiene munchas cosas que solucionar en su nuevo negocio

Sehr harte Matratzen, kein Aufzug für Gepäck. Einfache Unterkunft aber sauber. Das gebuchte Frühstück für 2 Personen bestand aus 1 Tasse Kaffee oder Schokolade und 1 Croissant pro Person mit wenig geschnittenem Obst. Lecker aber sehr wenig. Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, im Restaurant leider eher nicht. Für 1-2 Nächte ok.
