Room was unclean and other then breakfast, there was no food on site.

The location is great, just two minutes from the Luxor temple. Unfortunately, the room I got was dirty, below the bed was so much dust that I couldn't breathe properly. The soap dispenser are broken. My room was next to café/ bar where people talk until 3 AM, very noise, I had a hard time sleeping. The staff was ok.

The view of the Luxor Temple and the Nile River from my room balcony was (especially at night) was so nice to see. The building is older and not up to date but that was fine with me. The room and the sheets were clean. The staff were friendly. Helped me with my bags to my room as well. Offered and ordered me dinner since I had such a late arrival. Where ever this was ordered from, it was really good. Great flavors! I only stayed one night because I had a short trip. The area is a little loud at night but it was holiday for them, I was able to sleep through it. I was able to store my luggage and come back to the lobby to wait for my taxi service with no issues.

The staff is excellent and very friendly, check-in was very easy, they’re happy to help with anything. The breakfast is very good and lots to choose from. They’ll make you an omelette or cappuccino if you want. They serve beer on the roof deck. My room was right on the street so it was noisy from early morning till late at night. Only one electrical outlet worked, and it was in the bathroom. The shower is tiny, it’s just a corner in the bathroom with a curtain around it. The air conditioner was very tricky and it took room service a couple visits to get it working. It’s very close to Luxor Temple and to the big market. they let me extend when my flight got canceled, which was very accommodating.

Comfortable and clean. Air conditioning. Good bathroom. Balcony view of the Nile and Luxor Temple. Roof top bar. Good breakfast. And the staff were all excellent. Friendly, helpful with good English. Would definitely go to Susanna again.

It was quite. Good location for shops and mrals.

The room was a little small for a 3 Star Hotel. The Air conditioning did not work, the Shower was a waste of time. The room was so noisy as it was over a small street with a bar and lots of shops that were open until 1:00 am, so it was hard to sleep. It does need a little TLC in places but the staff were friendly.The good bits are, the breakfast is pretty good and the roof top terrace has some really good views. There are loads of scammers waiting outside but this is not the hotels fault.

Susanna Hotel worked for what we needed at the time—a place to crash for a few hours after an exhausting 24-hour journey before moving to another hotel. That said, this stay reinforced something I learned in Egypt: just because a country is less expensive doesn’t mean hotel quality should be this low. I’ve stayed in significantly cheaper hotels in other countries with far better standards. This property felt like the bare minimum—outdated, rundown, and extremely basic. The room was very small, more like a storage space or closet, and not somewhere you’d want to spend real time. It was very much a “sleep, don’t touch anything, and leave” situation. The positives are the location and the view. It’s very close to the souks and main areas, which is convenient for a short stop. Overall, while the location is good, this is not a hotel I would recommend for a stay in Luxor. The rooms are outdated and uncomfortable, and the experience falls well below acceptable standards for anything beyond a very brief stopover.

Toilet needs to be cleaner

This hotel is a scam and the photos you see of the room are misleading. It felt very unsafe in the room. We had issues with: The lock of room door was almost broken, the door of balcony was also week and anyone could easily open it with just a push from outside. Beside the hotel is a shady small market lane and there whole night was loud music played by taxi drivers with lot of noises, it felt kind of unsafe. The water in washroom was coming very slow and i couldn’t shower properly. On reception the hotel staff said we can’t do anything about these issues. The whole furniture in room was kind of broken or looked so old. The bed listed as king bed is smaller than a queen bed.

While Uber is not available in Luxor, the owner of the hotel offered me Egypt £700 to airport. But the taxi outside the hotel door asks for E£300.

Had to cancel due to illness

Everything was great! The view was fantastic. I stayed here because it's close to the Luxor and Karnak temples. It has a beautiful rooftop view, and the restaurant is located here! The breakfast service was also very good!They cleaned the room every day, everyone was very kind. The man who cleaned always left a drawing on the paper and arranged the towels very nicely. 🙇 Thank you, I would definitely come back here. 🙏

Hotel view is second to none. Absolutely fantastic Rooms were basic, clean and functional The trouble is outside. Constant barraging. For 2 females travelling alone, felt threatening.
