Best Western Valley Hotel

Very nice luxury room as we were on our way to Wales. Good staff - all very helpful.

Lovely hotel, great location within easy walking distance of Ironbridge and a short drive from Bridgnorth for the Severn Valley Railway, which we especially wanted to visit. The hotel is an old building with no lift and a bit of a labyrinth via stairs and corridors to the guest rooms. Staff were helpful with heavy luggage but the building may not be suitable for those with physical infirmities, unless there are guest rooms with easier access than the one we had. Excellent food. Breakfasts were well presented and generously supplied. We dined in the restaurant on only one evening as there was a wedding party during our stay which rather took over the hotel, including most of the seating in the bar and on the terrace. On the quieter night (Sunday), we dined in and were impressed with the menu. The restaurant was busy so clearly very popular. Good parking space. Lovely grounds, well kept. Very close to the River Severn.

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place; 5 minutes walk along the River Severn to Ironbridge is like being in a dreamworld on a summer’s evening. The attentiveness from the staff was fantastic and the restaurant food was superb, especially in the evenings. A great place for anyone to stay and explore Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge.

Mostly staff were friendly & obliging but one one occasion when ordering food I should have been warned that my choice wasn't available before we looked at menu. However reception was helpful & our stay comfortable & enjoyable. Would go again. Lovely Dale End Park was pretty, peaceful and an excellent walking area with a separate play are for kids.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Ironbridge, the staff are only too happy to assist with anything you need. The breakfast is amazaing,

Fairly basic hotel but had everything necessary. Very little choice at dinner, just the usuals. Very limited breakfast. First time for a while I’ve stayed somewhere that eggs come fried or not at all. It’s a cut price wedding venue and coach tour stop. OK for just one night.

Nice hotel and good spot, a bit warm in hot weather but slept surprisingly well. I would stay again.

Superb for the weekend event

In a lovely setting location, just on the edge of the town, pleasant stroll, passing a couple of pubs. Had a great meal at night. Good choice on the menu. Well cooked food for breakfast, lovely bread, cereal, fresh fruit. Good for parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will use again, very handy for Blists Hill especially now it’s a National Trust property.

Great hotel, I went stayed here with my wife when we went to the Embers festival. Lovely place to stay, parking fine and enjoyed the meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was really good and the staff were all wonderful. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful location surrounded by its own gardens and within a woodland setting. large comfortable bedrooms.

Lovely staff, food and garden, such a shame the floor is so squeaky and noisy, and the bed so old and uncomfortable.

Room was lovely, very clean staff was so friendly and helpful. Brrakfast was the best, quality ingredients and great choice. The only thing that let it down was the mattresses are so hard and lumpy

Overall excellent, we had a huge bedroom up two flights of stairs but not too steep, as the building is old there is no lift. Restaurant had great view of the gardens and a good menue, reasonable price and varied choice. Breakfast was cooked to order with again a good choice. Outdoor seating was great on a warm day just looking over the gardens and a short walk down to the River Severn

Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful gardens easy walking distance from the Ironbridge. Lovely hotel, say parking, great food, including breakfast. Happy to recommend.
