Good location to see surrounding historical sights. In a quite valley near two large towns.

Mysigt hotell i ombyggda industribyggnader. Dock ledde en brant spiraltrappa till vårt rum och vi hade bara ett frostat fönster mot en inre korridor. Men vårt rum hade AC. Bra frukost men inte jättestort utbud. Trevlig personal. Minus för att det bara fanns kombinerad schampo/duschcreme i badrummet och inte balsam. Dessutom inget varmvatten i handfatet.

Very good dinner menu with excellent staff. Breakfast offering was not so great. Bedroom (45) was poorly situated above the kitchen extractor and, whilst spotlessly clean, had a intercommunicating door which offered little noise insulation. The bathroom was stark, even by Premier Inn standards, and the offering of gels and soaps was poor. Hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking Dale End Park and the river beyond.

The room was good, dinner was enjoyable, and the staff were generally friendly. Unfortunately, breakfast left a poor final impression. When I checked in, I was told breakfast was served between 7:00 and 9:00. As I thought I might need to leave at 7:00, I asked whether I could have a takeaway breakfast instead. My train was delayed the following morning, so at 6:20 I asked whether I could change back to the buffet I had paid £14 for, as I no longer needed to leave until 7:30. I was told the earliest time available was 7:15. When I explained that I had been told breakfast started at 7:00, there was no real discussion or attempt to resolve the confusion. I was simply told that 7:15 was the earliest they could do, so I said I would keep the takeaway. To be clear, I paid £14 believing the buffet started at 7:00 and that the takeaway would be a reasonable alternative if I had to leave before then. Had I known the buffet would not be available at the time stated, I probably would not have paid for breakfast. More importantly, had I known what the takeaway would actually consist of, I would have asked for my money back. When I collected it, my £14 breakfast was a cold bacon sandwich on plain white bread, with no butter or sauce offered, and the smallest croissant I have ever seen. This was the moment when genuine customer service would have made a difference, particularly for a guest about to begin a five-hour train journey. Passive politeness is not the same as making an effort

We had air-conditioning which was fabulous. Not many hotels on our 60 day trip of the UK had a/C and given the summer temps it was a joy to finally get a good night's sleep.

Our room was clean and quiet and a good size. There was a fan provided as it was extremely hot when we stayed! The hotel has ample parking which is a real bonus. There is a lovely terrace which leads down to a park by the river. It is a short walk to the centre of town where there are a number of cafes and pubs serving food. The hotel also has a restaurant. I would recommend checking whether a wedding is taking place when booking as this meant the terrace was out of bounds for a time and it was not possible to get a drink at the bar which, after a day of walking in extreme heat, we really needed.

Room was an internal room, with only a frosted window to the hallway, so felt a bit claustrophobic. The bed was two singles pushed together, so had an uncomfortable split down the middle. Breakfast was really good. A fresh full cooked breakfast with good quality items.

Parking was very good , breakfast was lovely and staff were helpful

Lovely hotel, great location within easy walking distance of Ironbridge and a short drive from Bridgnorth for the Severn Valley Railway, which we especially wanted to visit. The hotel is an old building with no lift and a bit of a labyrinth via stairs and corridors to the guest rooms. Staff were helpful with heavy luggage but the building may not be suitable for those with physical infirmities, unless there are guest rooms with easier access than the one we had. Excellent food. Breakfasts were well presented and generously supplied. We dined in the restaurant on only one evening as there was a wedding party during our stay which rather took over the hotel, including most of the seating in the bar and on the terrace. On the quieter night (Sunday), we dined in and were impressed with the menu. The restaurant was busy so clearly very popular. Good parking space. Lovely grounds, well kept. Very close to the River Severn.

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place; 5 minutes walk along the River Severn to Ironbridge is like being in a dreamworld on a summer’s evening. The attentiveness from the staff was fantastic and the restaurant food was superb, especially in the evenings. A great place for anyone to stay and explore Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge.

Mostly staff were friendly & obliging but one one occasion when ordering food I should have been warned that my choice wasn't available before we looked at menu. However reception was helpful & our stay comfortable & enjoyable. Would go again. Lovely Dale End Park was pretty, peaceful and an excellent walking area with a separate play are for kids.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Ironbridge, the staff are only too happy to assist with anything you need. The breakfast is amazaing,

Fairly basic hotel but had everything necessary. Very little choice at dinner, just the usuals. Very limited breakfast. First time for a while I’ve stayed somewhere that eggs come fried or not at all. It’s a cut price wedding venue and coach tour stop. OK for just one night.

Nice hotel and good spot, a bit warm in hot weather but slept surprisingly well. I would stay again.

Superb for the weekend event

In a lovely setting location, just on the edge of the town, pleasant stroll, passing a couple of pubs. Had a great meal at night. Good choice on the menu. Well cooked food for breakfast, lovely bread, cereal, fresh fruit. Good for parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will use again, very handy for Blists Hill especially now it’s a National Trust property.

Really friendly staff. Mother to walk to the pubs. Nice grounds and setting. Nice food.

Great hotel, I went stayed here with my wife when we went to the Embers festival. Lovely place to stay, parking fine and enjoyed the meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was really good and the staff were all wonderful. I would definitely stay here again
