Great English breakfast

The hotel's location was beautiful due to the backdrop of the trees and hills and on the river Severn. Internally the hotel is very traditional with old features, fixtures and fittings. Single glazed windows led to it being cold in some areas, especially our room and creaking floors. Meals and beers were good and staff very helpful and polite. We wouldn't stay again but that's not a reflection on the hotel, it is just us wanting to stay in other hotels in different locations. Fully recommend though 😃

Staff were good . Clean hotel all over. Rooms clean. Stayed in twin room but was put in room with shower facilities for disabled . Comfy beds rooms are cleaned daily and supplies with coffee tea milk etc. would prefer breakfasts included in price have to pay extra.in good location we l kept gardens.

Welcoming staff, easy check in and lovely spacious room. Easy to find location and ample parking.

The property was lovely and the staff. The only complaint would be the rooms were very hot and a strange humming sound presumably from the heating which made it difficult to sleep

Great location in Ironbridge. Clean comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is your average buffet, but the evening meal was excellent.

Really nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Love the way the old architecture has been integrated into the hotel. Sone very clever design work adds lots of character!

Didnt like that he had paid for breakfast but theHotel had no record of this and we had to pay 80 pounds.. so now we have to go thru the nuisance taskbof trying to get a refund.

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for. The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile). If you have accessibility issues make sure you request a downstairs room as there are no lifts. There is so much to do in the area; a long weekend is very quickly filled with museums, walks, shopping, cafes, an old abbey (two miles away) and slightly further (six miles), golf.

Beautiful Georgian house with stunning grounds in an outstanding location.only stayed 2 nights wish we could of stayed longer. The breakfast was lovely best full English we have had in a long time. We will be returning again the hotel is amazing and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. The grounds were beautiful and a lovely walk by the river straight into ironbridge. Breakfast was great lots of choice and excellent quality 👌 The old bad thing was the matress was not very comfortable very lumpy.

The room is too small. The double bed is too small. Electric shower is unliked.
