great location. really close to tram and bus stops, piccadilly station, shopping and restaurants. check-in counter needs to be upgraded(a plexiglass barrier?). but the rooms clean and spacious. staff friendly and helpful. the hotel itself is historic /interesting.would stay again.

The room was clean and spacious with 2 double beds, and the bathroom was also nice! Breakfast was very good in the morning My whole stay from check in til check out was nice & smooth. No issues with anything or anyone. Most bad reviews of this place are either outdated or just overexxagerated stories/lies Will definitely return in the future if I have to :)

In the city centre, so accessible and walkable to transit , restaurants and a Sainsbury right across the road. Unfortunate there was a heat wave and there was no AC so was uncomfortable trying to get some sleep , older building so you can hear lots of footsteps and talking in the hallway, otherwise its good enough for a one night stay.
