Harbour Hotel

Check in was really easy which was good. Room was clean. My only advice would be more pillows and bigger mugs and a teaspoon. However we were woken at 1am by some idiot vaping in their room and setting of the fire alarms!! Then never got back to sleep due to the inconsiderate piss heads arriving back at all hours up to 5am. Now get they are young and im not a party pooper but maybe in the hotel description it should mention that its let out to young people so oldies like me wouldnt book it. Also maybe a fan in the rooms as the windows are tiny and the room was like an oven.

We like staying at harbour hotel but really like the flats very nice place to stay, the hotel toilets is blocked so had 2 have someone out for that, still not right but it’s fine the staff is nice and helpful I would recommend the hotel and the flat two stay

Awful to say the least

We had an issue with our room but it was sorted in minutes by a lovely workman , spoke to the owner and he was really lovely and helpful , the workman even offered to help my disabled husband up the stairs . We really enjoyed our stay and planning to come back again !!!

Decent if you just want a place to lay your head

We didnt stay at the property as it made us feel uncomfortable we had booked a room with a sea view couldnt see through the windows as it was misted up.also plug socket was broken off the wall.no receptionist.there was noise everywhere around the property felt like a hostel it was horrible

Nobody at reception. Key safe used everywhere.Paintwork poor. Bathroom tiny.

Cheap and practical not quite as bad as some reviews .. nice clean bedding and towels .. Just needs money spending on it and an update . Free parking from 6pm till 8pm in car park over the road near arcade as only disabled parking at hotel .

Property close to all amenities Clean and comfortable just no toilet roll was put in bathroom

We had a child , no coat was provided and the lift didn't work but noted came with a child. Room was good size , TV and private bathroom and provided tea/coffee and towels. but one window looked broke, curtain now blinds for getting light away. . The walls needs cleaning/repaint. , bed needs replacing. No receptionist but was met at check in.

Staff should be made available all the time , although bedding and towels were clean the mattress was stained and rooms need a good makeover regarding decor a lot needs updating

The rooms need updating the look of the rooms are poor the bathroom door does not Evan shut properly you have to lift the door to close it, the window does Evan have a handle, it all needs painting just all needs updating!!

I wouldn’t normally put the words hole and sh1t in the same sentence for a review but nearly two hundred quid for two nights for a room that you couldn’t have a cat swinging contest in, the shower, was broken, the room itself appeared tacky. One saving grace was clean ( I think) bed linin. I think if you’d have come across to these shores in a dinghy, and the authorities put you up in here, which is what I think it’s used for, you would ask for a move. Nice man on reception though.

What a complete hell hole dirty bed completely un sleep able just a bed and a table in the room burns in the carpet it should be closed down you should warn your customers not to stay at this hotel

Worst hotel I’ve ever been in! I’m hoping we haven’t taken beg Bugz home with us. Utterly disgusting hovel

Room was cold bedclothes were inadequate bed was uncomfortable, taps were loose on sink, i know it was only £40 for night but expected better. Also my wife is disabled and we had a room on top floor. Certainly will. not be coming back again

Absolutely disgusted with my stay. The bedding was disgusting with urine patches on from not having clean bedding. The noise is horrendous. There was also a constant smell of faeces. I tried making a complaint and noone is interested

Didn't have to walk very far for anything we needed

No heating in the room. It was cold. Neither normal radiator or oil radiator in the room worked. Phoned the number, got another heater brought to the room, took a good while to warm the room up Got one shower then the hot water went cold. It was still cold the next morning
