Ibis budget Lancaster Centre

The lifts are broken in this hotel. You have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to reception. Then more flights of stairs to get to your room. If you are disabled or have heavy luggage this is not the hotel for you. Security is very lax at night. You can open the main doors without a key card as the locks are taped over. The sink plug hole was disgustingly dirty. On a plus’s side the rest of the room was clean. The hole in the wall was a nice touch. The paper covering the door spy hole was also a different design feature. I would not go back to this hotel until the lifts and security doors are fixed

When I visited the hotel a few months ago. One of the lifts was out of action. On this visit both of the lifts were not working. Maintenance at this hotel is poor. On check-in I had to wait 10 mins for a receptionist to check me in. Generally hotels is unkempt and dirty. It’s a good location just a shame it is not being maintained well

Good accommodation right in the middle of Lancaster. Close to all shops, bars and cafes. Wetherspoons next door.

Cheap and cheerful. No issues but very basic - hotel is clearly a former travelodge and lacking in TLC - you get what you pay for!

Didn't need parking as arrived by train, 10 mins walk to hotel. Very central, close to a range of shops and eateries

Freindly staff Clean comfortable bed Our room was not as clean as I would expect was not hoovered properly and a dirty spoon like dried up yogurt or something on it . Could do with hand towels as well as bath towels

Our room was cancelled due to overbooking on the morning of our arrival. We had already arrived and paid for parking. We booked 6 months ago

As I was only staying 2 nights the room was fine but any longer and I'd have asked to change room, as very noisy overlooking main road. One of the security cables on window had been cut, so window could be opened wide! I was in a room with twin beds….only one had clean bed linen on. Bit disappointed with starkness of the room but not bad for price.

Central location

Room clean bed comfortable. Few minutes walk from city centre. Smell of cigarette smoke appeared to be coming in through bathroom possible from people in next room. Lots of shouting and noise banging on walls reported to staff in the morning so hopefully get issues sorted. We had just walked long distance hike in Scotland and booked in here for overnight rest before travelling back down south so not the best night sleep. However hotel clean comfortable bed.

It is a great city center location with the train only 10 minutes away. Having a Tesco express next door is vey handy.

We were very well placed in the city. Lots of shops and cafes - would recommend Holm round the corner for a Swedish food visit.

It’s okay very basic does the job.
