Not much facilities in the room. No hairdryer, no ventilated fan in bathroom. No AC and it was so hot. We had to open the windows as it was hot. We could hear all the vehicles passing by at night! Difficult to sleep.

Despite the nor unsignificant price / night charged by G2O, guests should be aware that the business model is essentially low-cost hospitality. Bare painted walls without any decoration, no fridge, no safe, no air conditioning, dated mattress, etc... There is no parking facility, and breakfast is not even an option. We had to ask to change room for our second night because the shower was not draining and there was a terrible smell in the first bathroom. Staff was helpful and managed to switch us for a better one (but still the identical v basic characteristics). This should be no more than £50 / night, but is costing unfortunately a lot more. I can only recommend to look for alternatives. Location was decent though.

The hotel was filthy. When we went to get into bed the sheets were soiled. Anybody had access to all floors of the hotel. I’ve never stayed in a hotel like it in my life. When I complained I was told to email there was no manager on site. I’ve emailed twice and not had a reply.

Really good location, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Although we had some issues with our key card deactivating they were really helpful and not a complaint. was the perfect location right in the city centre, with lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance! The traffic could sometimes be loud but easily fixed by closing the window. As well as the lack of iron and hairdryer in the room, however there was a communal iron in the reception. Was a really nice stay overall.

Hotel contacted less than 24 hours before we we due to check in and cancelled our booking due to " unforseen circumstances" which means they sold our room at a better rate. Customer service were beyond useless. Do not book this hotel if you need the room for an important stay.

Clean room but uncomfortably hot, noisy outside and hot air blowing in from gym aircon below. Bathroom even hotter. Bad sleep each night and staff were very polite but unable to help at all. Would not stay here again.

Good, clean, great location basic hotel.

Initial impression wasn’t great as, lifts were out of order, carpet in public areas appeared to need a wash and card entry system on outside wall was broken. Staff were very helpful as I was able to leave my case before check in. This meant I could tour Lancaster. Room was clean and outside noise in evening was negated by the earplugs supplied. I would visit again if I was in the area.

The lifts were out of action,engineer was coming out in 5 days time. Only saw one member of staff during our stay. Tea& coffee not replenished. Room was not cleaned during our stay. Would not return to this hotel.

The lifts are broken in this hotel. You have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to reception. Then more flights of stairs to get to your room. If you are disabled or have heavy luggage this is not the hotel for you. Security is very lax at night. You can open the main doors without a key card as the locks are taped over. The sink plug hole was disgustingly dirty. On a plus’s side the rest of the room was clean. The hole in the wall was a nice touch. The paper covering the door spy hole was also a different design feature. I would not go back to this hotel until the lifts and security doors are fixed

When I visited the hotel a few months ago. One of the lifts was out of action. On this visit both of the lifts were not working. Maintenance at this hotel is poor. On check-in I had to wait 10 mins for a receptionist to check me in. Generally hotels is unkempt and dirty. It’s a good location just a shame it is not being maintained well

An excellent place to stay, friendly staff and super clean accommodation.

Good accommodation right in the middle of Lancaster. Close to all shops, bars and cafes. Wetherspoons next door.

Cheap and cheerful. No issues but very basic - hotel is clearly a former travelodge and lacking in TLC - you get what you pay for!

Didn't need parking as arrived by train, 10 mins walk to hotel. Very central, close to a range of shops and eateries

Freindly staff Clean comfortable bed Our room was not as clean as I would expect was not hoovered properly and a dirty spoon like dried up yogurt or something on it . Could do with hand towels as well as bath towels

Our room was cancelled due to overbooking on the morning of our arrival. We had already arrived and paid for parking. We booked 6 months ago
