Our room with the New Kent Apartments was small but perfect for the two of us. It was well appointed and was in a great neighbourhood. The check in staff were very helpful and patient. I would recommend the New Kent Apartments.

After a long day travelling to London and an amazing night at a show we arrived at the hotel to pick up keys where the gentleman at the desk was very friendly but flustered as he tried photocopying my driving licence take deposits and verifying transactions all of which seemed a bit much for a one night stay! On finishing these checks he was very happy to tell us he had upgraded us into a better apartment which was lovely as we were away for my birthday. Getting over to the apartments was easy and after climbing the stairs to room 13 my husband passed me the bad whilst he unlocked the door and turned on the light to our horror the door opened straight onto the bed where 2 people were obviously not expecting visitors!! We then continued back over to the hotel in the pouring rain to sort the issue of which was sorted but not a great start to the booking!

Had a good 4 night stay for the cricket at The Oval, very close to Hyde Park and lots of amenities nearby - was advertised as an apartment so was surprised there was no cutlery there !

Very good room for one bit too small for more than one. Lower ground rooms have no view and don’t get any sunlight. Very nice location close to shops, underground and parks!

Location was great. Loved all the resturants and stores nearby. I liked the 24hr front desk.
The room was tiny and supplied with the most basic of amenities. The bed was tiny and creaky. The bathroom was the smallest one I've been in outside of an airplane. 2 towels and a bathmat. The bathroom smelled like an open drain. No handtowel or kitchen towel for the dishes. We were stuck with the 5th floor no elevator. My husband said its 58 stairs.
Thanks for the wobbly fan and the open window.
The overwelmingly perfumed smell in the hallways and the lobby was awful. Give it up. It stinks.
We happily left a night early.

Not really that pleasant an environment to rest in with renovations and angle grinders happening all day and tonnes of workers using the narrow hallway for large objects.
The shower was so cramped and the overall use of space needs a rethink.
The balcony was a lovely charm and proximity and overall service was the big win here

The location of the apartment was great. Very walkable and close to the tube, grocery stores, restaurants and park. The room itself was very much average. No air conditioning and the room gets quite stuffy, broken bathroom tiles and the floor felt gritty. It was adequate but certainly nothing above average, if not a bit below. Best thing about it was the location.

First night was a terrible.... nextdoor was having some party and very loud until 4am the next night we were at work , when I got back at approximately 7am I went to check out and reception was closed and room 15 was is in total darkness I checked the fusebox with the torch on my phone and nothing was out of place

I had booked this hotel as I was in London for work, I started work at 7am in the morning and had booked 2 night’s with this hotel, unfortunately I couldn’t even sleep as the walls are far too thin and I can hear the neighbour screaming and shouting, I had complained but there was no action, wouldn’t waste my time here again.

The hotel is centrally located. Close to hyde park, close to the main tube stations, which makes its location even more convenient. The staff are very friendly and service-oriented. You get everything you need in the apartment to have a pleasant stay.

My boyfriend & I had an amazing stay! Everything was clean, room was spacious enough for two people, & the service was awesome. Really close to Bayswater & Queensway tube and a lot of cute dinner places around. Highly recommend if you want to be close to Hyde Park and Kensington gardens!

Reception area was dirty and had stains on the walls behind the desk. The room was not one that was in any of the pictures, and was not matching in cleanliness or order. The bed was not comfortable and there were stains on the ceiling. My wife went to use the restroom only to find out the toilet seat was not attached, and it came off. The bathroom did not have soap.
We notified the front desk and asked for our money back, as we were not going to stay there after that. We were initially offered a different room, but we were past that point. I was given this email address to inquire about a refund(reservations@newkentaparts.com), but after two emails since December 30, I’ve heard absolutely nothing from them.
I would suggest not staying at this hotel.
