Point A Hotel - Paddington

Was given room in basement just above the subway line. It was very disturbing with every passing train as the room vibrated and became very noisy. Asked the staff if we can move to an upper level and was told immediately that the hotel is fully booked. He didn't even check his booking system or attempted to find a resolution. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

Front of house team was fantastic. Our room is spacious, modern interior and comfortable. The high tech lighting system and user friendly instruction on how to use the AC system. It was a great stay and will be here again for the next london trip.

Thank you for your service, it has been a very enjoyable stay with you. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. The accessible room is great, with plenty of room and fully manual wheelchair accessible. The location is good within a 7 min walk or wheel to paddington station.

I used to stay here regularly ( 2017-2020) . My first trip since then and was 0/10 …will be asking for a refund ! Arrived - tv turned itself off every 15 mins , waited for the guy to come and look , he had to strip all the extras off it to get it to operate as a tv. Night 1 - group in opposite room and next door came back after 2am , decided to stand shouting chatting in the hall. The doors offer zero soundproofing !!! I had to get out of bed to ask them to stop , that was the trigger for more shouting in the hall . They then went next door and it went on till near 4am !!! I reported it to reception and reply was ‘oh I can see how that might be upsetting’ …offered nothing ! Day 2 - my tv then decided it would stay on for 7 seconds and reboot ! I mentioned it at reception when going out , nothing done ! Then night 2 , same again, doors slamming after 1am . Noise …. Oh I forgot the classic ….from 5am to the following 1am you get the tube noise , like thunder coming through the building !!! I was on 3rd floor !!! Never again….if you like living in a hotel that feels like it shakes every time a tube goes under….stay here !!!!

Staff friendly, twin beds a bit too small and expensive for a one night stay but nothing wrong with the hotel itself

No sleep, underground room, I may as well have slept in the tube station. Staff unsupportive, will never return
