This is a luxurious and grand hotel! We stayed in a large sea-view room on the 4th floor with a balcony. The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning and endless. We spent so much time just relaxing on the balcony—it was incredibly peaceful. Even though the hotel is near the road, the room has excellent soundproofing. Once the doors were closed, we couldn’t hear the traffic noise at all and slept perfectly.The room itself was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable, featuring a massive bed and a cozy sofa for watching TV. The complimentary bathrobes and slippers were a lovely, thoughtful touch. We also loved the bathroom, especially the double vanity sinks and the amazing rainfall showerhead!The buffet breakfast offered a huge variety of choices. We were completely satisfied with our entire stay in Brighton!

The Grand is our favourite hotel in Brighton and our first choice when we visit. The staff are always amazing - friendly, accommodating and helpful. The only issue we had this visit was both guest lifts being out of order all weekend with the whole hotel having to use the single small service lift - we were on the 6th floor so this was an unusual disappointment with an otherwise fabulous hotel.

We had booked for two nights but due to unforeseen circumstances we could only manager the night. Our sea view, fifth-floor room was superb. We couldn't fault it, other than to say we wish British bathrooms would supply more shelf space for cosmetics and the like. Each member of staff we came in contact with were nothing short of friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and prompt, particularly Paul at the entrance. He was magnificent and was duly rewarded. But in truth, all at the Grand performed excellently, and we would have no hesitation whatosever returning, if they could provide us with such an axcellent and spotless sea view room. As a former travel writer I can only say that the Grand, Brighton, has noticeably improved with the years. LM.
