The Ned is an expensive hotel. It is worth every penny. From the welcome from the doorman (Scott was wonderful), all the staff were fabulous. Everything is top class and they cannot do enough for you. Didn’t want to go out into London. Already planning our return visit. If you can afford The Ned, treat yourself.

The challenge with the NED is the photos show a rooftop open are pool and seating area and a basement pool and spa. Plus multiple bars and restaurants. You think you are buying into an experience you can enjoy for a weekend. Unfortunately you are just getting a room. Even if you splash out for a great room, it’s just a room. Then spa is extra, the breakfast is extra, everything is chargeable, plus hidden charges. And the greatest scam, the rooftop is members only and not available to guests at all, so why include the pictures?

Brilliant stay at The Ned. Such a lovely hotel with old school charm. Loved the Spa and the Rooftop Bar. Disappointed with the food we had in Millie’s Bar. The Bites were great & the wine too. The atmosphere was lovely but the main meals let down the overall experience. This aside, it’s not put us off returning to the hotel as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel, in a former 1920's bank. Luxurious lobby/lounge areas with several restaurant options in the hotel. Good location in City of London/financial district. A little far to main tourist attractions (20 min), but we always enjoyed comming back at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ned. It is a beautiful hotel with an old Hollywood vibe. All the staff we encountered were very welcoming and friendly which was lovely. We had breakfast at the Electric Diner and Millies Lounge which were both delicious. The room itself was spacious, clean and had plenty of amenities. I cannot fault this hotel and look forward to our next stay.

My husband and I paid for our daughter and two of her friends to stay at the Ned. The girls enjoyed their evening however the woman at reception had been extremely rude and obnoxious. She had told my daughter that she was not to drink as technically she was not 18 because her birthday is a leap year! Most of us would think that a joke however she was deadly serious and continued with her rudeness. Another staff member seemed to note this and came to the girls rescue. I had not planned on making a formal complaint until I realised yesterday that the brand new suitcase my daughter had been given as part of her gift was damaged. It seems that someone may have tried to get into the suitcase damaging one of the locks or potentially it had been handled in a careless way. My daughter had used the case new, arrived at the hotel in a hired limo so definitely had not been damaged in route. I am therefore making a formal complaint.

Most of the stay was great. The blinds in the room only partially coverered the window so let light in during the early morning. When fed this back at checkout they said they would leave a note for a future visit that preference for a room which has blinds that blacked out light. Not sure our issue was handled particularly well or understood. Aside that stay was good and breakfast service was a little slow but food was delicious. Spa treatment was exceptional.
