It was very nice overall despite of a minor problem in the air condition in my room . But the staff especially the lady who I have spoken to on Saturday night ( 26/04/25) she was very helpful and considerate. Will definitely come back to this gorgeous hotel. Will probably my choice of hotel in Basingstoke . The gym and pool and sauna are very clean , smell clean and tidy. Deserving of a 5 star rate….

Great hotel with a good breakfast that didn't taste cheap like some. Rooms are unique as bathroom area is not totally separate but they have privacy glass. Hotel does get a bit busy down in the sports bar but again we found the food pretty decent. Check in and out was hassle free. Car park is decent size. Did not see anything in walking distance but was only staying the one night. Does have a starbucks on site also.

Really great price for a decent overnight stay. Terrible pillows and quite a lot of noise which made it tricky to sleep. Amazing pool and facilities and staff really friendly and attentive. Restaurant food really awful for GF and drinks quite expensive, staff very polite and attentive however.

The hotel is located a short walk from Baz city Center. All you need to do is follow Basing View to get to festival place. The hotel is very quiet inside, even though it’s next to a railway which I’ve never heard from my room. I like the fact that all the rooms have window windows that can be slightly opened so you can get some fresh air in the room. The air-conditioning works very effectively and you seem to get an air conditioning unit in the room which you set your individual temperature requirements. The staff are very friendly check-in that you can quite easily do it yourself. If you stay at this hotel Friday and arrive after 5 PM there is no requirement for you to pay for parking which is a bonus. The food served from the bar is very reasonable for the quality and taste however, I recommend you take the food to your room to avoid the tray delivery charge (this is the hotel charging you to deliver the food you just ordered) You will also find a Starbucks on site which is quite handy for your morning requirements of coffee and they do a very good Oatmeal. This car park is quite large, but sections of it are regularly closed off, and it can sometimes be hard to find a space, especially if you check in later because it has the Villahe Gym - so it’s full of all the people going to the gym. There are no designated hotel guest parking spaces.

I asked for early check in but didn’t hear back from anyone, so I arrived at 3pm to find early check in had been added without telling me, so I was almost charged for it. Thankfully the person who helped me check in removed it for me. The room was pretty good but the shower head fell off the hose and absolutely drenched me and the whole shower area

Excellent room, check in could be easier as had to fill in all my details again, unsure why this was. Insisting I log my card to take charges should be an option, not mandatory.

Clean room. It was adapted for disability which is fine but the bed was quite soft. The room (201) was apparently above the gym and is not sound proof so music and weights shifting could be heard until late and then early in the morning.

For the money paid, the room and what it included was brilliant, great bed, great shower, a small thing but an iron and ironing board in the room. Coffee maxhine and pods, some of the little things just make the difference. But a really nice hotel, super friendly and helpfully staff, nice bar and restaurant area and a coffee shop on site.

Our second time staying, still just as good. Great facilities, comfy bed, quiet at night, friendly and helpful staff who look like they actually enjoy their job. Only downside was the odd behavior of a guest near our room and other areas of the building, apart from him it was a great weekend and will definitely be back.

Had room 307. This was clearly based over the gym, as every 30 seconds the room rattled from a loud bang coming from the gym. Thankfully this stopped about 10:30, but then started again about 5:30am. Worst night sleep for years.
