Clarion Hotel Helsinki

Usually I don’t write many reviews but this I have to do it. This hotel is 10 out of 10. The staff is super friendly and smiling and make small jokes 😊 The breakfast is on top. Everything you need. The pool, sauna and gym were really well maintained, very clean and a nice place to spent some free time. There was drinking water everywhere. The sky bar is also a beautiful fancy place to see the sunset and have a nice cocktail. The rooms are very spacious, beds very comfortable and very clean. The view of the hotel is breathtaking - very panoramic. It is also located literally next to the public transport. If I visit Helsinki again, I will definitely stay here 😊

Offered an upgrade for a sea view on arrival but politely declined. Great breakfast and tram stop right outside the hotel to access all of Helsinki.

Close to ferry terminal, new, modern and well maintained hotel. Delicious breakfast with wide variety of food.

quite a long walk from the centre. tram stop directly outside was a great bonus. breakfast was amazing & loved the cast option from our phones to the tv to watch anything we wanted. pool was a lot colder than we expected, thought it was heated :( great amenity that i wish robes & slippers were included for

The staff were great. The breakfast was fantastic with so many glutenfree options. The room had a nice view of the harbour. Did not get an opportunity to use the gym and pool. The views from the 16th floor were great.

A first world problem, but the TV didn’t work for our whole stay!

Great location to access Helsinki city centre. Well connected by tram to centre but only a short walk away. Loved the rooftop sauna and pool! The breakfast had a huge selection of food to fill you with energy for your day touristing! The room was a nice size with very comfortable beds and remained at a decent temperature...not too warm or cold.

My third stay at this hotel. Unfortunately this time I was given a very grubby room, the floors were dirty and worn and the room door and bathroom door had large dents on them like someone had hacked on to them with a tool?? And it has been badly repaired with some kind of paste. I am not sure if these rooms are inspected regularly as it would be a quick job to change the doors. I find it odd at a 4 star hotel there isn’t even a spoon in the room or any standard tea. The breakfast is consistently good and food items are high quality and fresh. There was little wardrobe space to hang the clothes. If you want comfort and space you must book an upgrade not the standard room. The level of cleanliness has unfortunately gone down from last visit, and the corridor carpets in floor 8 at least had stains on them. This hotel is worth it if you book the more expensive rooms and take full advantage of the sauna and breakfast facilities. Very easy reach to town centre, less than 10 mins on the tram from just outside the hotel.
