citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon

Stayed here with my daughter for a 3 day Paris trip. Great location! We went to Disneyland Paris and Gare Du Lyon station is literally next door from which we got the RER A train directly into Disneyland. Staff are super friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. Easy to check in and check out on the ipads in reception. Room was spotless and bigger than I thought it would be. My daughter loved that everything could be controlled through an ipad. Would be nice to have a little coffee machine in the room as I can't start my day without one :) but lots of cafes and coffee shops on the doorstep. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything is pretty good except there is no electric kettle to boil water.

Air conditioning did not work in the room

Helpful staff and a clean hotel with lots of green initiatives. We were helped at check in and also given information about breakfast and other facilities. We arrived quite late so had something to eat and drink in the bar area, and were there again for breakfast - food and service all good. We added all to the bill and it was easy to pay at checkout. There is an upper level walkway directly from the Gare de Lyon which looks like it will eventually give direct access to the hotel. It’s not currently possible without descending a flight of stairs on the other side. Given we had luggage, we decided to return to the station via the road outside the hotel when we checked out. That way was on the flat, and there is a pedestrian crossing outside the station.

I loved this hotel. It was a bummer that the rooftop was being upgraded, but that didn't matter. The staff was amazing and the place impeccable. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is extremely convenient if you need to be close to Gare de Lyon. I did not like controlling everything with an iPad. I didn’t realize that I had to schedule room cleaning so that kind of sucked the first few days. Room is small but fine for one person. Staff was very nice, especially at the restaurant where I had to install myself one day to deal with work stuff. One other unfortunate thing is that have covered the hotel in a banner which blurs the incredible view of the city! What a shame! Because I could see ALL of Paris, just through little tiny dots. The club level was not open due to renovations, so maybe there is a better view when that is available. I would stay here again, if only because it felt a bit removed from the chaos of the city.

We enjoyed our stay at CitizenM which is a very unique concept hotel. This location is literally steps from the Gare de Lyon station (be sure to exit at the lower level onto Rue de Bercy) so very convenient for travelling. Everything in the room was very clean and laid out with great efficiency. Even though it was compact, a lot of thought went into the arrangement and placement of various furniture and items for easy access. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and served in a large cafeteria. Free water is always available for filling. Would definitely stay here again and consider it as a first choice for any location we visit in future.

I had a great week-long stay at CitizenM Gare de Lyon! I was in Paris for a week-long academic conference during what turned out to be an extraordinary heat wave. While colleagues staying at the conference hotel (from another well-respected hotel chain) complained about the lack of good air-conditioning, I was fresh as a daisy in CitizenM's excellent a/c. I also appreciated the great filtered water tap in the bar/breakfast area, where I filled up my water bottle morning and evening. If you've stayed at a "capsule" hotel like CitizenM before, you'll know what to expect: rooms that are small but well designed, with a place for just about everything. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom was excellent, and everything was clean. I paid for breakfast everyday, and it was fantastic -- a good selection of croissants as well as fruit, yogurt, granolas, juice, a range of bacon and eggs, and coffee to order in your preference. The multilingual staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel is a block away from the Metro and trains at Gare de Lyon, but is also a short walk from other subway lines at Gare d'Austerlitz and Bercy. I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is the epitome of a comfortable but beautiful stay. Its high tech features are user friendly and the staff onsite are very kind and helpful. The location is perfect being situated literally steps away from a major metro station in Paris and the canteen food is absolutely perfect. Loved my stay will be booking again.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The air condition is pretty mild, particularly for a heat wave. But that was a minor issue compared to all of the other great offers from the hotel. Would stay again.

Friendly, helpful staff and great location!

Simply amazing. From the moment you step off the elevator. Bar/restaurant open 24/7. Everyone was great! The staff is cross trained. So you get the same service at front desk as you do throughout hotel. Location is close to train, or you can uber or taxi. Rooms were great. Everything can be operated from iPad at bedside. They offer cleaning service everyday if you want. With their heavy cleaning everything is stripped from the room. Light is change of towels, etc. We will always stay here when in Paris. There is a “steaming room “ for ironing. The iron is attached to a steamer. I want one for home! There is a buffet breakfast for less than $20, which was amazing. When we 1st arrived, because it’s in Paris center, you wonder if you made a mistake. Absolutely, not! Can’t wait til next year!

It was very hot in Paris May 25-27, and unfortunately air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly. Other than that everything was great.

Good room amenities. Good food and good room for cocktails and dining.

Great hotel, great staff.

Perfect location right next to la Gare de Lyon. From there, you have access easily to the main attractions of Paris. The staff was very helpful. Will return next time in Patis!

Super convenient, friendly staff and very comfortable and clean rooms!

Hotel room was very clean but a few things seemed to be out of order, including a rip in the lower part of the bed frame. The shower door was also having a difficult time catching the water from hitting the floor due to the plastic piece attached to the frame being loose. Booked a room with a view and was not disappointed! I could see the Eiffel Tower even during cloudy days, as well as the Cathedral Notre Dame. Room felt a tad on the smaller size. If you are claustrophobic I would not recommend, but it does its job overall if you are not. Would book again.

Great location for Gare de Lyon train station, 2 mins walk. We walked to Eiffel tower, took us maybe 30 mins. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us and we enjoyed our stay. There was an early check in available, which after a 30 hour flight was music to my ears. The room is small but that is known and part of the package! Very well designed rooms, felt like I was back in Japan!
