citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon

Hotel was nice, close to everything. Staff were really nice and common areas were a plus.

The Citizen M is some type of "concept hotel" -- a concept that I did not appreciate. The room size is minimized -- the bed is pushed up against a wall and if shared by two people, one person has to crawl over the other to get out of the bed. I also did not like the all he electronic controls in the room. For example, the need to use an I-pad to turn the lights on and off. Furthermore, there is little is very little space in the room to store your suitcase, and the closet is too small to hang up most of your clothes. They only clean the room once every 3 days. In short the room is a mess. I guess it it is fine for one person, but the facilities are cramped for two people. Finally, I did not like the idea of having to travel down 9 floor to get water and ice (my room was on the 9th floor). Finally, I did not find the breakfast offered worth paying for. It's an economical hotel for Paris but not a great value. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Disappointing. Have stayed before so have to highlight this was not our typical experience. Room appeared to have not been cleaned, toilet flush stuck continually running with water on the floor. The blind was broken and could not be opened. Tv remote also not working but could be used with the tablet in the room.

Stayed only 1 night before flying back home but we found the hotel to be a very cool experience, kind of like a cruise ship cabin but very high tech with all lighting and entertainment controlled via the supplied iPad. Very comfortable bed and a perfect sleep before our long flight home.

CitizenM hotels are fantastic. Everything was fantastic. Loved the work station and lounge area , comfortable bed. Quiet room, lovely staff. Good breakfast.thank you!

Good location with getting everywhere being very convenient. Pretty is well kept and staff is great, highly recommended!

Very clean. A bit small of a room but really quiet and great AC. Free water at the bar which is a nice touch

Accueil horrible. Informations erronées. Check-in laborieux car instruction incomplète. Bling bling mais bien situé près de la gare de Lyon. Cher, artificiel et on loge les gens qui utilisent Hôtels ou Expedia dans les chambres cheap. On demande de spécifier la vue désirée mais c’est de la foutaise: on ne respecte pas ce choix. Bruits de drainage perpétuel dans la salle de bain. Décor moderne mais le reste?

Hotel is ok to sleep, breakfast and lobby is ok, staff is friendly, the hotel is not that well maintained compared to other CitizenM, but is comfortable to sleep, the surroundings are ok, a little bit dirty as usual for beign close to a train station…

Amazing stay at Citizen M in Paris. Super cool room with full control of lights, music, sound, TV, shades and curtains from the room iPad. Also very spacious shower and restroom with cool lighting. Great check in experience as well.

Close to train and metro

Excellent location, especially if you need to be near Gare de Lyon. It's right down the street and easy to get to with luggage. It's also near some cool nightlife spots. Lovely lounge and bar inside. I would absolutely stay here again. It's such a hidden gem.
