What Guests Say About Their Stay

Hotel Brighton was an excellent stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and the American-style breakfast was a pleasant surprise—one of the best we’ve had while traveling. The standout feature, though, is the location. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the area, making everything easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

Excellent location in central Paris close to many major sites and museums. Very walkable and close to metro. Nice and helpful staff. Room was dated and needed a little love but the location, view and friendly staff outweighed this minor issue. Breakfast was very good.

Beautiful, historic hotel, right on Rue de Rivoli! The location is perfect for walking to major sites. The hotel is elegant, warm, cozy. You are welcomed with a glass of ice-cold champagne. Staff is gracious & welcoming. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Ragan at the front desk & Jean Luc and Christoff from the breakfast room. We had a suite on the fifth floor (room 515) that was spacious & comfortable. The suite has steep stairs from the entrance up to the bedroom. If you have limited mobility, I'd recommend asking for a room with no stairs. The breakfast room is small but quaint & lovely. Breakfast had everything we needed. It was good & we were satisfied with the choices. There is complimentary tea after afternoon in the lobby from 2-6 PM. The hotel is small but has everything you need. I was disappointed by one thing. One day as we were exiting the hotel, a gentleman fell & broke his leg on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. We did not know him but were trying to help him. I asked the front desk staff for help in calling an ambulance. They said they were not able to help me & that I had to call myself. I did not know the number & do not speak fluent French. A good Samaritan helped us & the gentleman was able to get help. I truly feel the front desk staff should have been more helpful. It was very disappointing. Other than that, we had a great stay * would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were large, nice decor, very clean. The day we arrived the front desk staff seemed a little overwhelmed but we had no trouble checking out the next day so that may have been a fluke. Excellent location across from Tuilleries park short walk to Louvre, Tuilleries and Concorde metro stations.

The breakfast area is too small. The hotel knows how many persons are booked and how many rooms sold. There are not enough tables. Guests walk away. Limited staff. Be prepared to go out in the rain, and possibly severe cold and walk to breakfast. Check in took over 35 minutes.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, preferring to go to small cafe's and have a coffee creme and croissant at one of the small tables on the sidewalk. Room was clean, staff was excellent, amazing hotel that is close to Louvre, and not far to Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, etc. Gave hotel desk a pack of Flaming hot Cheetos when we left. Hope they liked them!

Very nice, some confusion at checkin was told upgraded, was not... room was not ready when we were told it would a few hours early.. so go in at 3 anyway with "upgrade" . Room was nice BUT tile in front of bathroom sink was broken, not a small crack- several pieces which made it difficult to step on, Asked for extra bath mats- which i had to do everyday, even though i was told it would be done each day... staff didn't seem to get how dangerous it wa, actually told them to go look at it.. once manager finally spoke to us, sent a split of champagne to room which was very nice. But i am not sure I would return.. for cost expected it to be better-was recommended by friends..,. Also Bar closed at 10pm. so no nightcaps.. But hotel was clean and staff tried... last issue was they gave our taxi t another coupe! We were waiting and saw them walking out by time desk man ran out lost cap- aw couple at translation when we got there - 15 min late. call worked out but messy. When I asked him if that my txi looked at me like didn't remember ordering it 10 min earlier. I hate writing negative reviews but i think if hotel did more to make up fr issues, like perhaps refund even a 1/2 night cost would have changed my feelings. next step was London hotel was so outstanding and several hundred less, really but the into a different perspective

WE were not given the room we chose. When we complained the desk Staff, then the Manager, lied to us, sent us an email they claim was sent from Expedia re the room, and argued endlessly, cut me off while trying to explain to them. Long story. My companion and I are both senior, well known attorneys, these people were horrible. I would not recommend this place under any circumstances, including emergency stays. We got a far lesser room than was paid for. Their sad attempt to correct it was meaningless.
