Hôtel Baudelaire Opéra

Stayed at this hotel for long weekend, closed to Opera and walking distance to Gallery Lafayette. Easily accessible via Metro or buses from Gare du Nord (if you travel via Eurostar - bus Number 39). Loads of Japanese, Koreans and Chinese restaurants and cafes in this area. There a Boulangerie right opposite the hotel - very convenient to grab coffee and croissant in the morning. Highly recommended

The location of the hotel is not the best. I prefer other areas of Paris. The lack of air conditioning is a dealbreaker during the summer heat. Unfortunately, the property is not maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This room/hotel was just OK. Price was good, front desk staff were excellent, room was small but clean, and fairly centrally located to most tourist areas. The room was very small but that was expected. The bathroom was not in good condition and really needs some repair.

Ants in the room all the time and the shower area was not looking nice or clean

The hotel location was excellent to visit all the places we wanted. Walking distance to Louvre Museum, Concord Park, River Seine, etc. There were a lot of Asian restaurants and a couple grocery stores which we enjoyed. The staff were all very helpful. The room was a bit smaller than expected but we had a good experience there.

The hotel is cleaned but rundown. Thread bare carpets and just looks old. The neighbourhood is mostly Japanese restaurants. The staff however were very friendly. Not worth the price of the room

Misrepresented property, required cancellation and reimbursement. Altered photos, no A/C, unsafe stairs, garbage in hallways, unprofessional staff.

This is such a cute and charming little hotel in the 2nd arrondissement. It was in a great area near the Louvre. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and our room had good amenities. We would stay here again if we return to Paris.

Amazing staff, so incredibly helpful kind and supportive!!! I was having issues with my phone and the front desk reception was able to help me so much!!! Best customer service I have ever experienced!!!

This is a classic property located in the heart of the city. It’s convenient to the Metro so easy to navigate the city. The neighborhood has all the amenities we were looking for and the staff were friendly and helpful. A wonderful Parisian experience.

Very well located.. old buildings; ok room but missing ac in a very hot week … not Easy .. compare to other 2 stars nearby that do have for shipper rooms … Location and staff are amazing..

Cozy hotel near all the essential places.

The hotel was in a great location and convenient to public transit and attractions. The hotel could use a little tlc, not renovation, but some restoration as it is a historic building. Just be aware there is no a/c, just a fan, which made it quite uncomfortable in 90-100f weather. For some reason, the fridge did not get cold either. The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating.

The staff was very polite, pleasant and very professional :) although no air conditioning in the room during the heatwave, we had 2 powerful fans. I will not hesitate to use this hotel again :)

Terrible, small room , no ac , very hot inside like in sauna. Good location , nothing else. Left to another hotel , didn’t want to even stay there

Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to many of the main tourist attractions. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. A few things to be aware of, though: there's no air conditioning, so I wouldn't recommend it for summer or hot days. The bathroom needs updating—there was visible water damage on the vanity unit that made it look less than clean. And the room is considerably smaller than it appears in the photos, which themselves show it looking more renovated and polished than it actually is.

Bed and pillows not the comfiest but great location and lovely staff.
