La Truffe Noire

This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle.

Very convenient central location, very good hotel ideal to visit Old town Brive, not luxurious but excellent on all fronts by Europe standards.

C est la 2eme fois que je viens passer une nuit dans cet hotel et je ne suis jamais déçue. Le personnel est souriant, aimable et servible. Les chambres sont tres belles et confortables. Du pur bonheur. Plateau de courtoisie bien appreciable pour la tisane du soir ou le café dunmatin avant la route. Petite frigo avec eau fraiche..merci de cette attention. Bon.petot dejeuner. J y retournerai l an.prochain c est sûr..

Personnel charmant, professionnel, tout est confortable et propre

Bâtiment remarquable et très bon emplacement. Place de parking avec réservation à l’avance (8€). Les chambres sont modestes, odeur persistante due à la climatisation, et pas de volets ou rideaux occultants (lumière de la ville et du jour). Très bon petit-déjeuner (15€)

Hotel ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, desayuno tipo buffet bueno

Tout était parfait ! Le personnel très gentil. La chambre très propre et spacieuse. Nous avons dîné au restaurant et avons été ravi.

étape agréable et bien placé dans Brive

Un sejour tres agréable encore une fois. Un accueil parfait, propreté irréprochable de l'hôtel et de la chambre, petit dejeuner delicieux et fourni. J'ai eu la bonne surprise d'être surclassé dans une suite, merci.

Bon accueil, établissement et chambre très propre, situé idéalement plein centre de Brive. Petit dejeuner très correct, literie confortable ... seul petit bémol, le parking de l'hôtel est très petit ... mais il y a un parking public à moins de 200m pour un tarif très raisonnable (j'ai payé 10€ pour 17h de stationnement)

Le sèche serviette était très sale On ne peut pas mettre la température voulue pour la Clim et une couette en été un peu trop chaud il aurait été souhaitable d avoir un drap Pour faire chauffer la bouilloire ou la cafetière il faut soit débrancher la télé soit la mettre par terre le fil est trop court pour la brancher sur la prise à cette effet. Concernant les finitions … et pour ouvrir une des portes glissantes impossible

Étape de voyage, bel hôtel mais bruyant nous entendions les personnes qui marché a l'étage, réfrigérateur qui ne refroidi pas, salle de bain details a revoir

Excellente séjour dans cet hôtel. Personnel accueillant et à votre écoute. Chambre parfaite avec une excellente literie.
