NH Nice

Over the years l have stayed in number of NH hotels but this is not up to number standards, the luggage stand was broken, the window handle was lost so the noise coming through that window was loud. The gym opens at 9.00am this time is not expectable. The gym equipment machine was broken. The breakfast is just basic only example offering scrambled eggs, no fried.

For being a luxury hotel, we would not stay again. When I first arrived, the driveway to enter was small there was no space to unload. Being a foreigner, someone accused us of hitting their car - that did not happen. Once he realized my nephew (the driver) was French he let us be. The property/room looked clean but the floor in our room was dirty - our feet and slippers they provided were black on the first night. We had the junior suite, so there was plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were great (sauna, fitness room.)The main reason we would not stay again was the staff/customer service. The reception staff was ok, but in general they were all not friendly. The workers in the restaurant/pool area were especially unkind and condescending (specifically the women.) Their interactions with us made us feel very uncomfortable - constantly watching what we were doing - questioning if we were bringing pool towels to our room which we were not - the bathroom is past the elevator that takes us to our room. When grabbing towels for the pool we were accused of taking too many - there are 4 people in our group so we are taking one for each person. One night we swam late and they said they were out of pool towels so we had to return to our rooms soaking wet - odd that such a nice hotel would run out of pool towels and not have other accommodations? It was really disappointing to have such poor interactions with staff and made me feel on edge throughout our stay.

Hotel in itself was very good, in a nice location and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning was poor for the room cost and even after a maintenance visit, this did not improve. A temperate low of 23.5c is simply not good enough and the hotel was manually stopping use in order to save money, presumably. The breakfast price is €25.99 per person per day and that’s a joke. It is the highest breakfast cost I have ever seen in hotels visited around the world. You can get a great breakfast for two nearby for €15-€20. Please also be aware, you’ll be charged €25 per night for damage, use of mini bar etc and this is refunded if there are no issues. Seems unnecessary if they were able to police the mini bar better which is directly in front of the reception desk.

Perfect Stay in Nice! Excellent Location & Top-Notch Service I had a wonderful stay at Hotel NH Nice! From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally welcoming, professional, and always eager to help with local recommendations. Highlights of our stay: Comfortable & Clean: The room was spacious, spotless, and featured extremely comfortable bedding. We slept soundly every night. Rooftop Terrace: The rooftop pool and bar area offer fantastic views of the city—it was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink after a day of exploring. Great Breakfast: The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety of fresh options, from pastries and fruit to hot cooked items. Convenient Location: It’s located in a great spot—just a short tram ride or a pleasant walk into the Promenade des Anglais and Old Town (Vieux Nice), making sight-seeing effortless.

We loved this hotel. Lovely spacious, clean bedrooms, helpful staff and walkable straight through the park into town and the Promenade des Anglais. The rooftop bar offered great food, lovely views and a pool which was just great to relax at after a day sightseeing. Highly recommend the N H Nice.

The hotel entrance and lobby was a great first impression after a long travel day. There was a driveway off the busy main road to unload, the lobby was open, natural light, large space, and multiple comfortable seating areas. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was spacious with a spectacular view of the hillside. The windows opened fully to take in the beauty. The room and amenities within the room were relaxing and nice. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Very inviting and tempting to stay in the room. Walkable and convenient. Breakfast was outstanding - the restaurant, staff and food selections. I would stay there again and recommend the property.

Pool area very nice, clean hotel. A bit far from old town. About a 30 minute walk to beach or take tram.

We had a lovely stay at NH Nice Hotel. All the employees were friendly and accommodating. We were early for check in but we were able to use the rooftop pool until our room was ready. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Location of the hotel is ideal. It is within walking distance to the main strip of restaurants and stores. The tram is across the street from the hotel. Did not have breakfast at the hotel. However, we had dinner at the rooftop restaurant & the food was good. We enjoyed our stay at NH Nice Hotel.

Great hotel and nice rooftop bar!

In general NH is a great hotel. Friendly staff, clean, excellent breakfast, lovely rooftop bar/restaurant & pool. Plus the location is ideal for exploring Nice & surrounding area. My only complaints are the bar was ridiculously expensive (eg. €13.50 for 50cl draught beer; €8 for a coke) - during our trip we went to Monte Carlo & the drinks prices at Cafe de Paris were comparable! Also, the room was a bit tired in places. Dodgy paint touch ups & a plug socket hanging out the wall, which took the shine off an otherwise really nice space.

Fantastic location, right on the Tram stop . Only 5 minutes to old Nice. Amenities and staff were amazing and pleasant and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I have visited Nice many times, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The breakfast was really great and definitely worth it. There was a wide variety of food, and the atmosphere was really nice. The only downside was our check-in experience. When we arrived, the receptionist asked us to take our own luggage to our room using a luggage trolley because there was no one available to help. We didn’t mind handling our own luggage, but for a hotel of this standard, it felt disappointing and unprofessional.

Clean and functional room. Highlight was the beautiful roof terrace and pool! Great location to explore Nice. Easy to walk into old town or get the tram! Would defo come back!

Stinky and hot not a great location

Very nice and comfortable hotel 🏨 with good location for us. It would be nice to have drinks by the pool.

2 nights in mid June. The rooftop pool and hottub with views !!!!and food up there too . Staff was very polite and helpful felt like high end hotel . First night we needed a fan they didn't have one but next day they got one and put it in our room waiting for us. .by port if your going on a tour by water and want to be by port ! By beaches and everything too ! Good size rooms not cramped like some European rooms ..!!
