Pullman Paris Montparnasse

Everything was wonderful! I especially appreciated the AC which was set to a low temperature. It was over 90 degrees in Paris so this made my stay at the Pullman Montparnasse very confortable. My only negative would be the SkyBar. It has a wonderful view but the vibe was for a younger crowd. There was an admittance fee which I thought should be waved or discounted if you’re staying at the hotel. Otherwise this was a great experience. The breakfast was great and the bed super comfy!

Excellent location for travel from Montparnasse station. Really nice clean hotel, as expected for the price.

The hotel is in a very convenient area. Lots of restaurants and stores around. Public transportation stations are close by. The rooms were clean but the bathroom area has a weird opening with drapery at one side which doesn’t give you privacy when you shower. There was a very bad smell coming from the shower drain. The staff at the lobby bar & coffee area were very nice & friendly. I did not have breakfast while I was there but the restaurant food was ok.

Positives: The room was clean. The AC was cold. The hotel offered free sparkling and still water daily . The towels and bedding weee clean. The closet space was generous. The cleaning staff were friendly. The maintenance crew or maybe it was the cleaning supervisor for our floor, however, was not helpful. Our bathroom had a broken toilet paper holder and a broken soap dispenser. When I informed the hotel cleaning supervisor of this she suggested I just put toilet paper roll back on the broken holder and let it fall off to the floor with each use or suggested I could fix the broken holder or just put the roll on the floor or atop the other new rolls of toilet paper which were stacked on the floor. As for the soap dispenser she said I should just keep pushing the broken soap dispenser upright when I wanted to use it although she saw that it would not stay upright and it shot soap out sideways as it immediately toppled over again. In over a week’s stay at this Pullman, these items were not fixed. The staff at the 2nd floor restaurant and bar were SO RUDE. The drinks and food there were horrible. The morning buffet in the hotel was a ZOO of people and the food was mediocre at best. It was very expensive at €70 for two people. It was loud, chaotic, and the food was mostly tasteless because it sat for hours being overcooked from heating lamps. It was a massive buffet if you like that but the staff were at best disinterested.

Very nice hotel with a great gym and close proximity to train station and other downtown destinations. Very clean. Great beds and shower. Breakfast Buffett was very good too.

Lovely room and city views from our room on the 24th floor. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful with my limited French.

This is a very fine hotel. In virtually every category, it ranks at the top.

Wonderful property and it was super convenient as we needed to catch an early train to Bordeaux in the morning. Lots of great restaurants around. We had some minor issues upon arrival but management solved all of them in no time so we really appreciate Pullman level of service. Thank you, we had a great stay!
