Hotel Sauerlacher Post

As Americans traveling through Germany, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The night staff member was exceptional—he spoke excellent English, answered all of our questions, and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how much room we had, and everything was well maintained. The location was another big plus. The hotel is centrally located with grocery stores and several restaurants within easy walking distance, making it very convenient to grab food or anything else we needed. The only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning. We understand that A/C isn’t common in Germany, so that wasn’t an issue. However, having a fan in the room would have made sleeping during the warmer weather much more comfortable. Another hotel we stayed at in Cologne provided a fan, and it made a noticeable difference. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. The friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and convenient location made this an excellent place to stay.

Lovely place and great food at the attached restaurant. Underground parking was fabulous as we had motorcycles.

left within 10 minutes of checking out as there was bed bugs in my bed. asked for a refund they said i need to contact expedia. disgusting. had room freshners in every corner leading toward the rooms.

very friendly staff, some parts of the hotel were a little tired but it had. a lot of character, gym had so much equipment.

Loved it, great spot

Quite, nice large room with kitchen. Furniture and carpet show tear and wear. Bed was great. Quite location, close to freeway. Staff was forthcoming and kind. I recommend this place.

Wonderful place to stay! Easy parking (very nice to have so close to Munich), incredibly cozy hotel rooms, and wonderful staff. Would love to stay here again!

Our group had stayed at this hotel one week prior, and my review was less than glowing. This time, however, we had a larger room, the pillows were excellent. Any stay can have special needs, and I want to extend special kudos to Mariia. She’s an immigrant from Ukraine. She’s a fantastic problem solver and manages employees well, with persistence, kindness and never raising her voice. I would recommend this hotel strongly, as a high value proposition.

Good place to stay away from the city and easy parking. Room is clean and staffs are nice.

I made an error with my reservation and the front office staff were more than accommodating! The pillows could be updated. On our day of checkout there was a fire alarm drill. No management was present to direct guests. It was left to housekeeping staff to manage guests, and they were not prepared for this. I loved the breakfast!

The parking was sufficient. The staff was extremely accommodating. We had a great time during our stay! It’s conveniently near the train station for easy access to Munich. There was an elevator and stairs. The bathroom was huge! The only thing I disliked were the pillows. They were down pillows but they were very flat. Other than that, bring your own pillow and enjoy your stay! The price is right!

Nice facilities, bit tight for four adults, not very accommodating for four (only wanted to give one key for four people, etc…). Loud beside road if windows open.

It was a little out of the way, but not bad. Easy access to the train and a few restaurants nearby. Decent price as well.the bedding was just ok. I would stay again, but not the 1st choice based on location. I would just like to be a little. Loser to the main spots i wanted to go.

I like everything. It' perfect

The hospitality at this hotel was non-existent, the front desk did not even try to help answer my questions, the amenities were poor, the room was loud and not conducive to a good night sleep. We were there for 4 nights and not once was the room freshened up or new towels provided. The check-in process was much more cumbersome than it should have been, the breakfast service was mundane, and you were never made to feel at home. Avoid this property at all costs.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Our room was in a separate wing which seemed a bit odd. The staff were helpful. We weren’t far from Munich by train though we had a car, it was easy to catch a train. There are a few restaurants nearby and a supermarket across the road.
