This is a getaway for locals alike, which is all you need to know. My family has frequented this hotel for decades and while visiting from the US, I picked this for a quick getaway with my husband. We enjoyed fantastic wellness facilities, including a sauna, followed by a dip in the pool, relaxing by the lake and a swim in the lake. Imagine a pristine lake, surrounded by the Alps and random sailboats in the water as your view. What more do you need? Let me add, it was peaceful. All I heard were waves outside my balcony. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious with lake view, of course. Staff was kind and helpful. Book here, you won’t be disappointed.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt und ohne störende Durchgangsstraße in der Nähe. Schön angelegte Terrassen mit Seeblick und guter Seezugang zum schwimmen. Beim Abendessen war ein Gericht sehr lecker, die Qualität des Salates haben wir ausführlich mit der Restaurant-Leitung besprochen. Hier kommt hoffentlich eine Verbesserung bezüglich Dressing und Vielfalt. Nicht auszuhalten war die nächtliche Hitze im Zimmer ( wir sind aber eine warme Dachwohnung Zuhause gewohnt), die Schlafqualität somit mangelhaft. Und das trotz Landseite mit Ost Ausrichtung, die Seeblick Zimmer in den Süden wären noch schlimmer gewesen. Es wurde nur ein kleiner Tischventilator angeboten. Hier werden mindestens zwei Turmventilatoren, oder ein mobiles Klimagerät und langfristig eine solide Klimaanlage benötigt!

Beautiful relaxing spot on the lake. Very good breakfast buffet. Clean rooms with lake view. No sandy beach. You have to take a ladder into the water. Unfortunately no air conditioning. So on hot days it’s not very comfortable in the room. Otherwise great place.

The person checking me in was very rude and unpleasant. I may have interrupted his lunch and he seemed like he did not want to be there. The hotel doesn’t have AC and just a lousy table fan in the room and one pillow. Felt like I was sleeping in a hostel not a 4 star hotel. Just overall disappointing. I woke up and drove back to Munich the next day.

This is a waterfront property but also next to a road with much traffic. There is not much in the neighborhood. Parking is a problem.
