Our stay at Alex Beach Hotel was fantastic. The hotel offers good facilities, nice swimming pools, and good free entertainment on some nights (DJ, greek dancing and latin shows were great fun and interactive).
Our double room with a kids' bed was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Beachside location and free beach towels were added perks.
The food variety was good - far more than I expected and plentiful. Good pasta and pizza options for the children. My 4-year-old also daughter loved the ice cream choices at dinner and around the pool.
Though sunbeds were limited, securing one before breakfast was easy. The hotel's location, less then a 10 minute taxi from the airport, was super convenient. The noise from planes never bothered us.
I've been to all-inclusive resorts in the past and paid significantly more for lower quality. We didn't use the kids club, but my daughter loved the kids' disco, even though it was primarily in German – it's mostly dancing, so language didn't matter.
What truly stands out about this hotel is the exceptional staff. From the bar staff by the pool to the restaurant and lunchtime servers, as well as the reception desk and cleaners, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Mattina in the restaurant and Panagoitis Panos, who took great care of us every day. The staff were always on hand, diligently cleaning and refreshing communal areas constantly.
Also recommend renting a car from the reception desk to explore the island.

Hotel is very nice, approx 10 mins from the airport. Facilities excellent, food choice was great and to a very high standard, excellent swimming pools and private beach area. Staff very friendly. Mainly German visits at this hotel. Overall a super week, would definitely go back.

This is an all inclusive hotel catering to German guests. The food is good, the drinks are not. There is extremely loud music at the main pool each morning. The rooms are lovely. It is not a peaceful place, it’s very loud with lots of children and group activities going on in the pool. The hotel is close to a large power station which you can see and hear and smell. There is also regular airplane noise as it is very close to the airport.

The hotel is super nice, the pools looked large and had cool stuff for kids. The service by the people is friendly.
The beach is splittedbin a sandy part where the beach beds are and rought stone where you enter the sea. I would highly propose to take shoes to go into the sea.
The food is good for an all inclusive hotel. But outside of the hotel you get real greek food at a much higher quality.
The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the airport (10min away), from the beach you have a superb view for the sunset and it‘s close to the surf and kitesurf stations.

A fantastic hotel with great facilities, location and staff. The hotel was situated near a small number of quite bars and restuarants and well serviced by shops.

Alex Beach Hotel voldeed zeker aan onze verwachtingen. We hebben een zeer aangename reis gehad.
Elke middag en avond is er een ruime variatie aan eten, en 's ochtends zijn er zowel vaste als wisselende gerechten. Het eten is heerlijk. Onze tip: als je geen kinderen hebt, ga dan iets later eten, want dan is het rustiger bij het buffet.
De omgeving is rustig, maar er is zeker genoeg te doen. Het hotel ligt dicht bij de bushalte, zee, restaurants en autoverhuur.
Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en dat is zo gebleven gedurende de hele vakantie. Elke ochtend word je begroet met een glimlach, en niets is te veel gevraagd.
Het zwembad is mooi en goed verzorgd, met meer dan genoeg ligbedden. We hebben nooit vroeg in de ochtend handdoeken op de bedjes zien liggen, en er waren altijd voldoende bedjes beschikbaar voor iedereen.
Als we één minpuntje moeten noemen, is het het geluid van de gang dat je in de kamer goed kunt horen. Je hebt geen last van de buren door de muren heen, maar mensen die langs de deur lopen hoor je wel gemakkelijk.
We willen ook graag onze barman en vriend Gabriel extra bedanken. Je cocktails zijn heerlijk, en je glimlach en vriendschap maken ze nog beter.
Wij raden Alex Beach zeker aan!

what a terrible place, a very stressful stay, far too much noise and far from the four stars it is rated for.
Our experience of our stay at Alex Beach Hotel & Bungalows was not good. The place itself is probably closer to 2 or 3 stars, an extra bed in a double room is a dream bed with two top mattresses, there is a noice hell from cicadas and constant overflights, the pool is dirty and a lot of chemicals are used, the service is so-so, breakfast and dinner buffet are mediocre, lunch is downright stressful, poor and extremely low standard, and snacks are limited, and also a sloppy deal. Also on coffee, milk (UHT), soft drinks and more, savings are made and the cheapest solutions are used. The gym is not worth visiting, there is 1 machine that does not work very well.
Only two people from the hotel staff gave us a four star service; Michalis and Adrianna in the resturant who was always smiling and helpfull - everyday with no exception.
We booked this on Hotels.com where it has four stars. I would argue that this is false marketing, and maybe hotels.com should send an agent and then I think it will go down to 2 stars, max 3. I feel cheated, both for the money I have paid and for the time I spent have wasted at this place. At the same time, Hotels.com should state that this hotel is almost only for German guests, who may be used to and satisfied with camping conditions.

Noi siamo stati scontenti solo del fortissimo rumore delle cicale. Se poche creano una bella situazione estiva ma cosi veramente troppe e assordanti.. morte si trovano spesso in terra e nelle grate delle piscene ma perché sono troppe. Con i lettini ci mettevamo fronte mare ma ci sono volate addosso lo stesso e non sono per niente piacevoli da vedere. Abbiamo girato l'isola e il mare più brutto lo abbiamo trovato solo davanti a questo albergo. Non è limpido forse perché spesso mosso.
Forte per il discorso windsurf motivo esclusivo della nostra vacanza, anche se il personale del noleggio poco piacevole.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold her! Både flere bassenger, strand i nærheten, og fin beliggenhet i nærheten av flyplassen. Noe flystøy, men sønnen på 4 år syns det var veldig spennende med fly over hotellet, og vi ble ikke sjenert av det. Utmerket service i alle ledd, både i resepsjonen, i restauranten og øvrig personell. Spesielt renholderne var hjertevarme og dyktige, og ble fort sønnens favoritter på hotellet. Godt utvalg i restauranten og lett å finne noe å like, selv for et kresent barn. Det var deilig med vind i varmen, og vi fikk alltid solsenger når vi trengte det. Det var vemodig å dra etter 11 dager her, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Cortesia e abbondanza del personale. Piscine per tutte le età, con scivolo e cascatine, ideali per i bambini, che si divertono tantissimo! Preto dell’hotel connesso con la spiaggia privata, ombrelloni e lettini gratis, teli mare offerti durante il soggiorno. Il mare in questa costa è mosso e diventa subito profondo, spiaggia ventosa, adatta a sport e perfetta per non sudare. Sabbia grossa e poi sassi dalla riva al mare, necessarie scarpette. I bimbi starebbero sempre in piscina.
Presenti anche campo da Beach volley, Paddle , Ping Pong e giochi in scatola. Volendo anche mini club, che però non ho provato.
Super presenza di turismo tedesco, quasi totale.
Si mangia e si beve tutto il giorno, ristorante del pranzo zona piscina , offre anche merende dolci e patatine fritte tutto il giorno.
La colazione è la cena si svolgono nel ristorante principale della struttura, con posti dentro e sotto il portico. Possibile anche cenare con griglia sulla spiaggia zona bar. Cicale enormi e assordanti fanno subito sentire in estate.
Alimentari e bazar intorno all’hotel, un paio di negozierei per souvenir più o meno preziosi, manca però un vero centro del paese. Possibilità di check out in tarda mattinata e continuazione in struttura sfruttando tutti i servizi, fino al momento del volo.
Attrazioni a circa 5-7 km la Valle delle Farfalle è la Farma, con contatto diretto di Lemuri, struzzi e altro.
