We recently spent three nights here. On arrival the area didn’t seem to be the best but once we got to know the area it was fine. The hotel is great and conveniently located near the metro, supermarket and a bakery. Giorgos on reception is an absolute diamond geezer. We had a problem the 1st night with American students partying below us until 4am and the music started again at 8am. We spoke to Giorgos in the morning and he said he would sort it. Didn’t hear another sound for the rest of our stay. Handled very professionally. The rooftop bar has a stunning view of the Parthenon. We went up there every night. The barman there, whose name we didn’t get was also a top bloke. We didn’t use the rooftop pool as it was either too windy or all the students were in it. All in all we would recommend this hotel.

They had a huge steamer in the room for your clothes, a rainfall shower, they had a fridge, the breakfast was so delicious we were almost late for our flight.

The experience at the end was fine, but it didn't start very well. On our first night we were were put on the 6th floor, supposedly an upgrade, with a view of the Acropolis, but the room was terrible. The decor dated, and the worst part was the bathroom, not even worthy of a 1 star hotel. On top of it all, the soundproofing of the room was terrible and we could hear every passing scooter's exhaust noise. On complaining, we were shifted to what was available for the next night, which was an accessibility room, but still much much better than what we endured on our first night. The following night we were eventually moved to a modern and spacious room on the fourth floor where we stayed comfortably for the next 3 nights. Apparently, 4th and 5th floors were refurbished in the previous years, and you could tell. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was decent. The hotel's location close to the metro station is ideal for exploring the city and airport transfer. I would have given 5 stars if we had stayed from the start in the room we eventually spent 3 out of our 5 nights booked.

Please avoid for your own benefit. I have stayed in many hotels across the world, this is by far the worst. Worse than a 2-star. Problems: 1) Rude and unhelpful staff. No welcome to us after arriving late in night and no simple ‘thank you for your stay.’ Just a single demand to pay their city tax before we even got our room. 2) No hot water to shower on 1st night (1.30am). We were told, couldn’t be fixed for at least 30mins. 3) Construction (drilling and hammering) at 7.45am after first night. No-one could sleep through this, not even Sleeping Beauty. 4) Room supplies (eg. Bottled water, Coffee sachets, shower gel, shampoo) - only complimentary on the FIRST night. 5) After complaining about noise (7.45am) we requested to move room which was granted. Same problems with constriction noise. 6) Reception staff said Hotel Manager not available but would speak to him when he came back, for us to speak to him. No feedback from reception or Manager at all. 7) We were told bags would be kept in safe storage place. On day of leaving, only place we could leave them was next to reception (accessible to public). Honestly and sincerely, you would much more than this, particularly for a 4-star hotel. You would think they would value loyalty by staying extra nights. Please avoid as you will be disappointed.

Lovley spacious clean room with a fantastic bathroom and the best shower ever. Plenty of room for my friend and I and as ladies, we appreciated the mirrors in all the places we needed them with excellent overhead lighting for doing make up etc! The location is fine, not the most salubrious but we always felt safe and the head reception chap, Giorgio, was absolutely lovely. Just a shame I emailed the hotel twice to ask if there was definitely a kettle in the room and they didn’t respond. So I took my travel kettle and it wasn’t needed. It’s just off a busy main road so quite noisy but the balcony door closed meant we still had a good night sleep.

Our recently renovated room was excellent. Housekeeping was great. Loved the rooftop dipping pool, bar and lounge. 360 degree views of Athen including the acropolis! Cute little balcony. Great breakfast…and all very affordable and good value for the money. The location was somewhat sketchy…graffiti everywhere, garbage in the streets, but we stuck to the main streets and didn’t go out after dark.
