Novotel Budapest City & Budapest Congress Center

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. They have a lot of amenities, gym, sauna and pool. Had a massage, nothing fancy, but very good. The hotel was very clean as was our room, but the hallway carpet was disgusting. Maybe time to replace it. Breakfast buffet was lovely a lot of variety and fresh food. A disadvantage is there is not much within walking distance.

this is hardly a 4 star hotel! old, stains everywhere, changed a couple of sad looking rooms, to end up in a same thing! If you have standards, look elsewhere

Washroom were terrible. Over all room were not that clean either.

Constant ambulance sirens noise almost round the clock was a total headache.

Very old hotel with very old rooms and dirty carpets. Unlike the usual Novotel chain hotels around Europe. Cleanliness was poor too!

Kind staff, great facilities, pet friendly, tasty breakfast.

I liked being anonymous and the use of a quiet, clean room with great facilities and comfy bed. The maids replenished products when I left a note. Very good bus services and cheap too. Handy shopping mall close by and a very good fridge to use. The only negatives were: A. Being reliant on public transport as the location is not convenient for walking into the city ( although I did). It was very difficult to see the ticket machine in the sun when purchasing. B. The choice and volume of the 'music' at breakfast was unpleasant. I was told that the manager had turned it up but it was not what I wanted to listen to first thing in the morning and certainly not at that volume. Overall a great stay though... thanks.

Everything was great the staff were outstanding very polite...i would for sure like to come back again....i would recommended this to anyone great breakfast too....

The staff were amazing from the moment we got there. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my husbands 40th birthday whilst we were there and when we got back from our morning out there was a birthday cake waiting for him. Great for safely storing our luggage when we arrived and day of departure. The bus stop right outside the hotel means you can get into the city centre in 10 minutes and a 3 day pass was approx £10pp and we well and truly got our money’s worth of use over the 3 days.

It was lovely to stayed here. Very convenient. Recommended.

Hotel rooms are a bit dated and could use some refreshment, but the amenities are good. Varied choice of food for breakfast. Convenient hotel parking.
