A wonderful and too short a stay in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever visited. We had dinner and breakfast both were excellent. All of the staff were lovely. Also visited the charming brewery under the same management and enjoyed it greatly. Highly recommended.

Would have liked a window in the room otherwise it was fine. Great breakfast.

The breakfast is nice with lots of homemade items. Staff is always helpful and the kitchen is we equipped with all the tools.

We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was fantastic! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the spa and the food at the restaurant for supper/breakfast. Unbeatable views, worth venturing off the ring road for this hidden gem!

Room was large and comfortable. Restaurant was tasty. Hotel is very close to a large puffin colony! I would definitely stay here again!!

This is our second time at Blabjorg resort. This time we utilized the spa services and the seaweed bath was so wonderful. The views cannot be beat. The 3 bed apt with its outdoor patio is perfect for small groups.

Beautiful room with a sea view, shower and washroom right next door! Every room (including one of the washrooms AND the kitchen had a view). The staff was so friendly (shoutout to Nicole and Vala)! Excellent spa with gorgeous views - had a cocktail made with the local moonshine! Breakfast was scrumptious including the home made dessert & the spice bread! Loved the town and the property - would love to visit again!

I stayed at Blábjörg Resort for one night in Room 108. The property itself is beautiful, but my experience was overshadowed by what I believed to be a serious safety issue. When I arrived, I was unable to lock either the front door or the patio door. We had already spent over a week traveling through Iceland and were familiar with the standard lift-the-handle locking system used in other hotels, but we could not get either door to lock. Since reception was closed, I immediately contacted the hotel through Expedia messaging, but received no response that night. Because we couldn't secure the room, we ended up barricading the door with the shoe rack so we could sleep. I reported the issue again at check-out, but there was no apology, explanation, or attempt to make things right. After my stay, the owner insisted the lock was functioning properly and suggested I simply didn't know how to use the locking system. That was frustrating, as we had successfully used the same type of lock throughout our trip, and my original message reporting the issue was sent immediately after checking in. Whether the lock malfunctioned at that moment or not, what disappointed me most was the lack of customer service. When a guest reports that they cannot lock their room, I would expect someone to take the concern seriously, investigate it promptly, or offer an alternative room. Instead, my concerns were dismissed. I can't recommend staying here based on how this safety concern was handled.

The room was very well equipped and perfect location to see the Puffins nearby. Staff was very friendly and the hotel bar was fun and serves great local beer along with everything else. Fun ambiance with the World Cup viewing at the bar. Breakfast was good and we would stay here again when in the area.

This was a true Icelandic experience hiking, puffins!!!! And the spa facility especially the seaweed bath. The owner was above and beyond, she made the 3 days extremely wonderful. Recommend highly

had an excellent stay at Blábjörg Resort. The view from my room and balcony was beautiful, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection of food. The only disappointment was the spa and hot tub access. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because of the photos showing the hot tub overlooking the water. However, I was surprised to learn that use of the spa and hot tub required an additional fee. I do not feel this was clearly advertised when booking, and it would have been helpful if this information had been made more prominent. Despite that issue, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the great views, comfortable accommodations, and friendly service.

Was a great spot to stay, we had one of the suites and it was a great size and had a view out over the old harbour. Breakfast was good, a lot of homemade items. We also purchased some gin from the brewery as a gift and have had good feedback on it. We booked as went to see the puffins, (best viewing times are early morning or evening after 7pm) but there wasn't a great deal else to do in the area unless you are looking for some longer hikes, or want to use the spa (additional cost). We booked two nights but could have done it with a one night stay, however it is an amazing place to go and see the puffins (very close).

The location of the resort is beautiful. We had a private room overlooking the bay. The outside of the building is deceiving as it is rather plain looking, but the room itself was quite spacious and modern looking. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was great. The bathroom was also a nice size and very nicely laid out. Only two negatives were that there was quite a noticeable sulphuric smell in the bathroom and the window had to be left open and the front door to our room was very tricky to open and lock…almost like it either wasnt installed correctly or needed adjustment. Great beautiful location and I was very happy I stayed there. Also breakfast was included in the price.
