I stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't fault anything with this hotel. The location was fantastic. A short 3 minute walk to bus stop 1 at the city hall. I got a bus from the airport to there and caught two different buses for tours to the golden circle and the northern lights as well. As a solo traveller this was perfect as there was nothing to worry about. There was also a free shuttle bus there to Grandi area. There were numerous restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and bars in close proximity. You didn't really need to go very far after a long day out. The harbour, waterfront, shopping streets and main attractions were all at most 20 mins walk away in different directions (except Perlan which was 30-40 mins). The whole city was walkable. I didn't have to use any transport apart from going on tours. The service at the hotel was excellent. Friendly and professional staff. Always someone available with a smile. The cleaning staff were extremely polite. My room was super comfortable. The bed and pillow were perfect and I slept right through. I've seen others reviews highlighting noise being an issue. My room was on the third floor and located off a central quiet courtyard that didn't face onto the main road. It was super quiet. Yes, there were a few noisy guests who didn't know how to open and close doors quietly but I think that's expected in hotels as long as they are at appropriate hours, which they were. Rooms were basic but clean . Enough room for one . Has old fashion radiators to control heat. Small fridge . Staff was great. For me - Jasmin was a great help for restaurants - making spa appts for sister hotels etc . Location is great for walking to restaurants / shops etc.

Room was fair. The window was single pain and the rubbish from local places was emptied at 6-30 - 7:00am so I was woke up every morning. Clean room, I think this was in the older part of the hotel, the website leads you to believe it's all refurbished.

The staff were amazing! Super helpful at all times. The room was a good size as well. The location of the hotel was excellent. We walked everywhere we went, all the main city places to visit were in walking distance. Lots of great places to eat and have drinks were walking distance as well. Gabriel, Jasmin, Mohammed to mention some of the great staff.

Great hotel. Brilliant location within minutes of bars and restaurants. Clean and modern and friendly staff. Room was spacious and had kettle, fridge and hair dryer. Lovely views (room 602) across the city. Would definitely recommend.
