The room was very clean and comfortable. The flaw in the room was just that the faucet in the bathroom was a bit broken. After all, the best thing about this hotel was first, the swimming pool was precisely near the lake. I could just sit near the swimming pool and enjoy the view of Lake Toba. It was wonderful. Second, if you want to go to Parapat, you can book a ticket for a boat that is scheduled to go there. The boat parked in front of the hotel's swimming pool. The staff at the receptionist was so informative about this, it was extremely helpful for me. (I would've gone to a farther port if he didn't talk about this). Thanks to him! However, the hotel was quite barren. The hotel was huge, but I could hardly see plants or trees anywhere, so it was pretty uncomfortable to walk or sit around the hotel at midday. Another thing that I disliked about this hotel was that they had a music group that sang songs extremely loudly at the restaurant from around 8 pm-11 pm. My room was near the restaurant, it was quite disturbing for people who wanted to rest after a tiring day, enjoy their dinner at the restaurant, or do online work.

A very nice and family-friendly place for a holiday. They have a swimming pool and massage area. Breakfast is also provided here. Nice view and easy access to all places. Got shop nearby and also they have a nice view. Really recommended this place. The staff were friendly and really helpful. They also provide hotel transfer with a cheap price.

We had a wonderful room right on the shore of Lake Toba after upgrading from a standard room to a deluxe room. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, the room was clean, and the view from the lake was beautiful. Thank you Toledo Inn.

-Our stay at the Damar Toba Hotel in Balige was enjoyable and memorable.
-Upon arrival, we were served a refreshing welcome drink after a long drive.
-The receptionist, who also seemed to be in Guest Relations, was very friendly and explained the surrounding areas to explore. One example was Tara Bunga Hill, where we could enjoy stunning views from the top.
-Beyond the receptionist, the other staff were also proactive in ensuring guests were well-served.
-Damar Toba is actually more of a restaurant on the shores of Lake Toba, with a modern design with ethnic touches. It only has six modern bedrooms.
-The rooms are not particularly spacious, but they provide complete amenities for working while relaxing, such as LAN cables, USB chargers, safety deposit boxes, hot water, and complete bathroom amenities.
-Damar Toba even offers a car body cleaning service for guests who drive privately. This is a rare service that adds to Damar Toba's value.
-The Damar Toba restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor options by the lake. The gentle breeze and the dim light of the bulbs create a tranquil and romantic atmosphere in the evening. It's perfect for events and banquets.
- The food is also delicious.
- Hopefully, Damar Toba will consistently maintain the quality of its food, service, and the cleanliness of its rooms and surroundings.

Highly recommended to stay here before crossing to Samosir Island! Cool air, beautiful views, plus the bedroom position is very strategic to see the beauty of Lake Toba. Close to the market and Tiga Raja Harbor. The bathroom facilities include a bathtub, shower, soap and shampoo, towels and even a ladle! Super friendly service and still meets health protocol standards 🥰 I was picked up and dropped off at the bedroom which was quite far from the lobby, so it was not complicated and tiring with luggage. Will stay here again if I go to Parapat!
