I booked a junior room for a night. The location of the hotel is quite strategic, close to some attractive places like Batu Night Spectacular. The room isn't that big, but it has 2 queen beds which are good for a family consists of 3-4 people. The room is comfortable, but the light is rather dark. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool for kids. It also has a restaurant with various kinds of food. The staff are also nice. I may stay here again next time when I go to Batu.

We just spent a lovely weekend at Kontena Hotel and had such a great experience ✨, especially as a family with a young child.
The hotel has a unique container-style design that’s both stylish and Instagram-worthy, but what stood out the most for us was how kids-friendly it is. Our daughter absolutely loved joining the cooking class where she decorated her own donuts! 🍩 She got to choose the toppings herself and proudly brought home her sweet creations.

It was great! I have no regret at all to stay at hanoman. I was so satisfied with the "fast response" service, the breakfast, the ambience, last but not least the beautiful design of the rooms. Summary: For the price (a little under 400k with breakfast), it is very worth it. I would recommend to stay here. Very clean, spacious, and well-maintained room. Ample entertainment facilities with lots of freebies. Very close to Batu's tourist attractions. We had a balcony and a beautiful mountain view. The ceiling was high + the room is so spacious. The bathroom was super clean and very well maintained. We got free Bebek ride and fish-feeding. There were ample parking spots. It was in one location with a Sundanese restaurant (Warung Wareg) which has very family-friendly above-pond saungs. We also got a 10% off there from the hotel to eat there. They also had a mini playground with 6-7 attractions for them to play. In addition to very good inside and outside experiences, the hotel was quite close to Batu's tourist attraction. It took us only 15 mins (5 kms car ride) to BNS, Batu Jatim Park 1/2, and Ecopark. For souvenirs, you could go to Istana Oleh Oleh Brawijaya which was only a 10 mins ride from the hotel. Great locations, am I right? The only downside would be a slightly creepy hallway. They don't have a swimming pool, but it's a 2-star hotel so it's inherent. But, that was me being nitty gritty. Aside from it, everything was fine!

Bad Comments on Google Reviews are 100% HOAX! This hotel is quite good in terms of facilities and room qualities. The minus was minor like peeling off wall-painting, shower water not strong and no breakfast. Except that, the standard of the hotel was quite nice, great views, friendly cold weather and this hotel is NOT old hotel. Glady I did not trust with Google Reviews. Success for De View.
