Very very attentive staff that were amazing. They organized our rather last minute trip to Borobudur for a vip sunset tour. It was fantastic. Food at the in house restaurant was awesome and shout out to the tempeh. The views were amazing and the infinity pool is a must do. It’s hard to make time for activities within the hotel as you will prolly head out to the temples and merapi. Do try a massage as well!

-When we receive your booking we will send you our guest questionnaire which we use to prepare for your arrival and stay. -In the guest questionnaire you can also include your flight information. Transfers to and from Yogyakarta or Solo airport are included in your stay. Our driver will collect you upon arrival at the airport and he will bring a paging board with your name and flight number. The drive from the airport to Villa Borobudur takes approximately 90 mins. Refreshments and WIFI are available in the car. -Check in usually is at 13.00 pm and checkout at 11.00 am.

Villa Borobudur is set in a stunning location, nestled in beautiful green forests with views of distant volcanos. It had 2 large pools with infinity edges, overlooking the scenery. Staff at Villa Borobudur couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with warmth every time we had any interactions. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out batik while my husband and son had great fun at a cookery class. We also enjoyed a hike and I would thoroughly recommend a guided cycle trip through the local village and market.

Ideal location to visit Borobudur. Go online and book a ticket to get to the top of the temple as numbers are limited. Hotel taxi service perfect. Infinity pool a good size. Get up early to see the sunrise over mount Merapi.

What a beautiful resort with amazing view of sunrise, Borobudur temple and mountains from the infinity pool, bedroom balcony and the other side of resort, surrounded by mountains. Infinity pool with incredible view was and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food and drink were surprisingly so delicious and cheap. They gave my daughter cake ice cream and candle for her birthday. Such a lovely gesture. Thank you for your service. Free shuttle bus to and from Borobudur temple was nice. We will be back.

Unique beautiful location in the mountains overlooking Borobudur and volcanic mountain range in tranquil setting. Villas are private and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and attentive to all requests. Infinity pool with unsurpassed views of below valley and mountains.

Excellent, serene, peaceful, relaxing location surrounded by dense forest and views of mountains, rice field, villages and Borobudur temple! The staff were the super host - very humble, welcoming, and agile service! The staff understood and served well on our requested dietary preference for Jain and Vegetarian Chinese Indonesian food! The day breaks at 4pm with call for prayers so be prepared to start and end the day early!

It’s a place where one can plan a variety activities and they will assist you, or one could just sit for hours looking out across the valley. Either way one will come away with an experience. The attention to detail with regard to the rooms and the resort itself was remarkable. It shows a tremendous care for the resort and for the guest’s experience. I would highly recommend this resort!!

It’s a hotel in jungle. Expect bugs, insects, ants and wildlife. The bedsheets had stains. Many stairs, unsuitable for those out of shape or elderly.

Our stay at the Vila Borobodour Resort was nothing short of fantastic. We were treated like first class customers from the start to the very end. The food there is amazing and again I can’t say it enough it’s all about the service and the friendly staff. The rooms were incredible. The photo in the website and booking sites do not do it justice. The suites are immaculate, clean with good AC and a TV. The pool was very nice and enjoyable on warmer days. I would give more stars if I could and highly recommend this resort to anyone who is going to Borobodour. For the price of the suites it is definitely a good deal considering breakfast is included and all of the services and amenities. PS: the Javanese massages are a must!

Beautiful facility and the staff were wonderful. My only issue was I was double charged for my airport pickup. I emailed my issue the the property but no response. It was only $45 but I was disappointed.
