Very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Clean comfortable rooms. Right next to thje Butcher's Gate in the city walls. Close to most everything.

Lovely staff, very comfy bed. Nice spacious room and no noisy fans or heaters which was lovely. Nice that the windows opened too. Very convenient to walk to everything from.

We were so dissapointed, the service was very poor the little receptionist was nice but seemed to be trying to cope on her own so bit of a wait on checking in,
Very haphazard introductory to the restaurant, we were told it was opened to 10 bit when we asked at 4 could we hv the easter sunday menu we were made to feel like we were a burden, they said they would have to check with the chef, we were not informed it stopped at a certain time?? In fact we weren't told anything other than, oh were tidying up not sure we have a table. Despite the place being empty bar one large family who were about to leave, we choose not to eat,
breakfast we were met with the first pleasant helpful young lady with short blonde hair and glasses, but its a very tight fit to serve yourself, you need to get everything down to ur tea,
Sorry wont be back just poor service. Ppl make a hotel and here personality is severely lacking!!!!

First time in Derry, hotel has great location within the Walls . Lovely room and great Bfast. We will return , staff most helpful and very obliging as the gentleman on reception helped my husband with the car parking .

It's a lovely hotel and walkable into Derry centre and if you get a really good room you get a lovely view. Food is always good and the bed is at least comfortable

Had a short stay in Londonderry as part of a Northern Ireland holiday. Katie who checked me in was lovely and really helpful. Great recommendation re: city wall tour. Also, she made sure that I was aware that there was a train strike ongoing in case I was planning to go on the trains.
Location of hotel is really good. Nearby to public transport, local attractions and places to eat. Hotel itself has a restaurant with a reasonably priced menu.

The hotel car park was shut so I ended up paying nearly £10 parking. Not great and this should have been detailed as one of my requirements was on site parking.
Room tired and didn’t have USB plugs by the bed which is expected as a minimum these days.
Bathroom needs serious update.

It says there is parking available on-site, which was evidently incorrect when we arrived due to a road closure. This could be outlined online. The room was nice, but the shower was a tough squeeze with the fixed partition and the showerhead really low down for someone like me who is tall. Overall, a decent stay and good location.

My daughter and I spent a whole month traveling through Ireland and the Malden Hotel Derry was the very best experience we had in terms of service and hospitality! The Derry Girls at reception were simply wonderful!

Many rooms have views over the river to the other side of town.
