Deja Resort All Inclusive

Really nice pool needed to be cleaned but really great !

Overall, I would stay at Deja Resort again. The location is definitely one of its biggest perks – right on the Hip Strip and directly across from the beautiful Doctor’s Cave Beach. As a guest of Deja, entry to the beach is free, which is a nice bonus, though you’ll still need to pay $7 USD per chair and umbrella. The food was surprisingly very good for an all-inclusive with only a buffet option. There was decent variety, and the meals were consistently enjoyable. One disappointment during my stay was that the pool was closed for the entire visit. I wish I had been informed about this ahead of time, as it would have impacted my expectations. That said, having the beach just across the road helped make up for it. If you’re looking for a laid-back, centrally located resort with good food and beach access, Deja is a solid choice

Food quality was very poor bring my son there with me he only eat the first day out of the 6 days we spent there. Towels were very old didn’t get the chance to go in the pool because it was under construction. So my entire trip there was a nightmare

The room was ok other than bugs coming in under the patio door.They say its all inclusive yeah only if you are eating what they prepared in their kitchen whitch was their food knowing you have tourists from all over the world.The food was terrible had to fight off the flies the dining area was too small had to wait in line till some guest waa done to be seated some of the staff in the dining room was rude. The pool was dirty when we got there they end up closing the pool in the middle of the week supposed to be for maintenence for 2 days but when we left on Saturday it was still closed. The entrance to the hotel is very dark at night. If i had to do it all over again I would not stay at this hotel. Paid too much money for what we got.

The pool was under renovation, that wasn’t mentioned on the website. An my tv didn’t work, the friendly staff made up for it!

Enjoyed my stay. Right across the street from the beach. Food was okay. Staff was nice.

Pros: Amazing staff, good food and location. Approximately 7 minutes from the airport and a three-minute walk to Doctor's cave beach (across the street). Cons: Hotel is extremely run down, dusty and dirty. Dead bugs and human hair all over the floors. Awful plumbing system, bathtub and toilet clogged after every use. I literally could not flush toilet paper. Nonfunctional pool and hot tub. I believe that guests should have been informed of this fact so they could decide if they want to stay at a "resort" without a working pool and hot tub. My room had a tv monitor but no remote. No phone and the mini fridge did not work. The view from my room was a dumpster. No air conditioning in the dining area. Staff was wiping sweat from their faces while preparing/serving food. Yes, the web pictures and videos caught me too. However, staff confided in me that those pictures/videos were taken years ago when the property was under different management. Yes, the food is good, and the staff is great, but from my experience I am questioning the authenticity of some of these reviews. Especially those that emphasize how clean and well-kept this place is. The other issue we encountered was harassment from the men who hang out on the street across from the hotel. These men are in your face and downright annoying. Not blaming the hotel for this, but guests should be made to feel safe and comfortable if they choose to take a stroll along the hip strip. Overall, I feel cheated out of my vacation

Kitchen staff was Great!!

I recently stayed at Deja Resort in Montego Bay, and my experience was a mixed bag. The location of the resort is fantastic, right across from the beautiful Doctor’s Cave Beach, which was definitely a highlight. However, I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. The pool was undergoing maintenance throughout the entire duration, and I received no prior notification about this. It would have been nice to know in advance so I could adjust my plans accordingly. Additionally, the lack of mid or top-shelf liquors was surprising. The available drink options felt quite limited, and it detracted from the all-inclusive experience I was hoping for. My room also had issues, including a broken safe, which made me feel a bit insecure about my belongings. To make matters worse, drinks were neither stocked nor restocked consistently during my stay, which was frustrating. I expected a more attentive approach given the resort's overall offerings. In summary, while Deja Resort has a great location and some enjoyable amenities, the maintenance issues, limited drink selections, and room concerns significantly impacted my overall experience. I hope they address these problems for future guests.

Call before you book. I had the unpleasant experience of arriving and finding out the pool and hot tub were closed and under renovation. That ruined the trip and made the hotel boring. They worked on the pool 8am on Saturday morning. Fun. The location is great and dinners were authentic and great. Bar closes at 2am

We had a awesome time and we will do it all over again in a heartbeat the food was excellent lots of choices, Loretta the entertainment cordenator was excellent, the one person that went above and beyond was Crystal from the dining room u all should be very proud to have her as an employee she raised the bar to the highest level this comment is from Hector and Millicent Coote from room 89.

Easy access to a lovely beach, staff very helpful and professional and room very spacious. The place is a little run down and chairs and umbrellas at the beach must be paid for.

Had a great time! Staff was great especially Loretta, she had our entire party dancing!

I love that it's across the street from Doctor's cave beach, easy walk to Margaritaville club 27/27 and many shops and restaurants.
