This was our first visit to Japan, so I had nothing to compare to, only stories about small accommodations. While the room was small, it was laid out in a way that maximized our space, and the double windows of our corner room made it feel bright and airy. It was very clean, and the window seat and desk were nice to have as an option to sitting on the bed. The women’s spa was a wonderful experience, and the breakfast buffet offered many choices and was well presented and quite delicious. Pajamas and slippers were also a nice touch, and I saw many of the hotel guests wearing them. The hotel was not too far away from the subway station, and we found it easy to navigate and felt safe doing so. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Outside of being a short walk to Shimbashi station, the amenities, breakfast, and rooms were all disappointing. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel that’s close to a hotel, this is it, but if you want a comfortable room, good showers, onsen, and breakfast, then this is NOT it.

I couldn’t give the hotel 5 star because their laundry facility is too small, only 2 machine but one of each is broken. It took 2.5hrs for one load. We had to come back 3 times at night in every 2hrs but we can’t use it. Except it, everything is good (breakfast, restaurant around hotel, clean, safety place)

This was our first visit to Japan. I expected hotel rooms to be small based on what I read. Ours was tiny. Two small beds were pushed toether in the center of the room, with a futon up against the window. It would have been difficult for four people (2 adults + 2 younger kids) to sleep here if that futon had not been available. Everything was very clean. Bathroom had a high tech toilet. We were in a corner, which meant we got two huge windows for a great city view. Elevators were small but fast. Desk and dining staff was friendly. Our breakfast was included in the rate. This was easily the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel anywhere. Mix of both Western and Asian dishes, pastries, casseroles, etc.

Outside of being a short walk to Shimbashi station, the amenities, breakfast, and rooms were all disappointing. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel that’s close to a hotel, this is it, but if you want a comfortable room, good showers, onsen, and breakfast, then this is NOT it.
