It's near to the Narita airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to - and from hotel to the airport. The room is cozy and quite large. Bathtub is also available, :-) which is in many hotels is no longer available, or bathtub is a luxury! We stayed 5 days there.

Very strategic location, just across from the Disney Resort Line's Bayside monorail station. To get to that monorail station, we can either walk or use the shuttle bus. Next, buy a ticket on the Disney Resort Line to get to Disneyland, DisneySea, or Maihama JR station. There is a Lawson convenience store and a Yamato luggage delivery service counter on the ground floor of the hotel. Each floor has a drinking water station. For those coming from the airport, you can take the airport limousine bus and get off at the hotel lobby, which is very practical and comfortable.

The hotel is located right near Narita Airport, making it incredibly convenient to get there, and they offer a constant shuttle service. Because it's so close to the airport, there aren't many entertainment options nearby, but the hotel still has plenty of amenities, including restaurants and souvenir shops. The price is reasonable, the rooms are more spacious than other hotels in Tokyo, have beautiful views, and are clean. Overall, it's a 10/10 for anyone needing accommodation near the airport.

Understanding local customs is crucial for a smooth and respectful visit to Chiba. One notable aspect is the emphasis on cleanliness and order; always dispose of your trash properly, and be mindful of noise levels, especially in residential areas and on public transport. Public transportation is reliable and safe, with taxis readily available. While ride-sharing apps like Uber operate in Japan, their availability and prevalence can vary, and local taxi services are often more common and efficient. Getting to Chiba and Getting Around

Reaching Chiba from major international hubs is a well-established process, primarily facilitated by Narita International Airport (NRT). For travellers from the United States, flights from New York (JFK/EWR), Los Angeles (LAX), or Chicago (ORD) typically involve one stop, with total journey times ranging from 14 to 20 hours. European travellers from London (LHR), Frankfurt (FRA), Amsterdam (AMS), or Paris (CDG) can expect similar flight durations, often with a single layover.

From India, travellers departing from Mumbai (BOM), Delhi (DEL), or Bengaluru (BLR) will generally find flights to Narita with one or two stops, with journey times typically between 12 to 18 hours. For travellers from Africa, flights from Nairobi (NBO), Lagos (LOS), Johannesburg (JNB), or Addis Ababa (ADD) to Narita will involve multiple stops and longer travel times, often exceeding 20 hours. Once at Narita Airport, travellers can easily book flight connections to their next destination or proceed to Chiba via train or bus.

Navigating within Chiba is efficient thanks to its comprehensive public transportation network. The Narita Express and Keisei Skyliner trains offer rapid transit from Narita Airport to major hubs within Chiba and Tokyo. Within the prefecture, local train lines and bus services connect various districts, making it easy to travel between areas like Urayasu, Narita, and Ichikawa-shi. A Japan Rail Pass can be cost-effective for extensive travel across Japan, while local IC cards like Suica or Pasmo offer convenient tap-and-go payment for most transit.

The best time to visit Chiba generally aligns with Japan's spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) seasons. Spring offers pleasant temperatures and the iconic cherry blossoms, while autumn provides comfortable weather and vibrant foliage. Summer (June-August) can be hot and humid, with a risk of typhoons, while winter (December-February) is cold but generally dry and clear. These seasons also influence hotel pricing, with peak seasons like cherry blossom viewing and Golden Week seeing higher rates.

Before departing for Chiba, ensure you have the local currency, Japanese Yen (JPY). While credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and larger establishments, carrying some cash is essential for smaller shops, local markets, and some transport options. Travellers from African nations, including Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, will also find that visa requirements for Japan are generally stringent.
