Five stars all day, only complaint was the dining options. Few “middle class” dining options within a couple blocks, either super fancy and expensive, or dive bars / smoking pits. Hotel was amazing all around either way and would stay here again on next trip to Tokyo

Location can't be beat, extremely convenient. However, hotel decor is very outdated, right out of 1980's Moscow and definitely not up to what they are charging. Even numbered rooms in the tower face the tracks for the high speed rail and can be heard constantly because the windows are too thin. I would not stay here again, not a in line with the cost.

Our recent stay at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warm, polished hospitality that Japan is so well known for—but the Imperial takes it a step further, offering an elevated level of service that makes every guest feel like royalty.
The Imperial Floor is particularly outstanding, offering spacious, modern rooms with premium amenities and meticulous attention to detail. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff was not only professional but genuinely welcoming—always ready to assist with a smile.
Dining at the 17th floor Kobe beef restaurant comes with some of the best beef you can have in Japan.
The location is another huge advantage. The hotel is centrally positioned with easy access to Ginza, Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo Skytree, the Imperial Palace, and the Ginza train station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Even Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are within comfortable reach, and Haneda Airport (HND) is a quick ride away.

The imperial hotel is the one historical hotels in Tokyo with class and beauty. The large lobby welcomes guests courteously with well mannered staff. It is very quiet and comfortable room. The service of the floor staff are excellent. I will definitely stay again.
